It would awesome if you could do more Universal restaurant reviews. I feel like I know all the ins and outs of Disney’s restaurants, but I have no idea how good all the sit-down places in Universal, IOA, and CityWalk actually are.

Agreed. I feel like you usually do quick service, city walk, or HP places, but I’d love to see the other table service food options in the park like Finnegan’s and the like. Thank you for doing this review!

This place is hands down the best theme park sit down restaurant, food is cooked to perfection, service is top notch, and theming is expensive (nice private bathrooms too). No other place in the universal or disney parks can compare, even epcot. I recommend trying their seafood options, like the octopus app and the catch of the day entree. Its comparable to the 4 star french restaurant near my house (and its at a cheaper price which is ironic for theme park food).

Went here as a destination restaurant a few years back with my best friend. Theming is terrific and nice and cool inside. Got the special filet mignon with blueberry sauce and it was absolutely weird! Service however was on point and the chef came to each table to greet guests and get feedback. He apologized and said he was taking the special off menu. Went back two days later and it was gone! I appreciated being heard and addressed. Great staff and experience despite the awful first entree.

I ran into this restaurant on my last trip because it was raining, and was drawn in by the 'best theme park' sign, it honestly did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back on my next trip!

I've been there. Ate the same things she did in this video (minus the dessert because I was too full) and can confirm it is DELISH! I think what wins them the title of best theme park restaurant in the world so often is that it's among the best in terms of ambiance and food quality, but then the most expensive thing on the menu is only about $30.

I ate at Mythos in October of 2021 and totally enjoyed the experience. I also had the cucumber martini and the spinach dip and found them outstanding!

Really loved this one Molly. We are 6 weeks away from our 12 day getaway and getting very excited. We have been watching a lot of your content and find it very helpful. Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat in Universal! Mythos has won the Theme Park Insider award for best restaurant in a theme park this year for the 4th time in a row and it’s 10th time overall which is why it has that sign.

First of all, I love this channel and have used so many insider tips to make our vacation great for my family. Thanks for all the great content and helpful hints! Alright, so…we went last week to Mythos and it was by far my worst dining experience ever. We had a reservation, showed up 45 minutes early, weren’t seated until one hour after our reservation time, ordered food immediately upon being seated, waited another hour for food to be served and then the food was cold. The restaurant was also like 59 degrees. They did comp our bill (which was the right thing to do) and bring us new slightly warmer food 30 minutes later, but it was a disaster. I hope others don’t have the same experience- maybe it was just a bad night for them, but we will never go back.

We love Mythos. We always order the sushi roll starter, it’s so interesting. It has like a scotch egg breading. I also usually get the pad thai. We also get the gooey cake and it is insane, it’s so good

The fork, knife, spoon grilled cheese was absolutely delicious!! The server tried encouraging us to get something else but we heard this was excellent and was not disappointed! Great service and ambiance. We were there in October and it was warm outside but freezing cold inside! It was soooo cold it was difficult to enjoy the meal.

Your videos are awesome & informative. I'm retiring from my job in a few years & am moving to Orlando to work part-time at Disney. Could you tell me some really close places to Disney where we could move where I would not have to cross I-4 to get to work (we are having trouble narrowing down where to search for a new house)? I watched another You Tube review of Mythos and they mentioned having the flaming cheese, Kadderi Saganaki, which is my favorite! Perhaps they no longer have it or it’s on the dinner menu but if anyone goes there and does see it certainly try it! Fantastic!

We are from Medittarrean! Everything is good on the Menu for us except the lamb burgers, was tough.and it was not seasoned and tasted like the way lamb smells. But you might like it!

You can fit a Loungefly as long as it is not stuffed full. It has to be squished down a little to get it in. larger bags will fit as long as they are flexible and not to deep.

I'd love to explore the theming in this restaurant, but I don't think I'd be able to eat here...I have a rare food allergy to the rosemary/thyme herb 🌿 family, so nearly all Mediterranean cuisine is off my plate 🍽️.

They have a bunch of non-Mediterranean food options as well in order to cater to parties with picky eaters among them. They're less adventurous as a result, but they should be able to accommodate you. If you're ever there, I recommend just asking at the front if it's possible to do something for you.

Love love love all of your videos! This may be the first I disagree with though- we just ate at my this last week and tried many, many items on the menu. The tortellini dish had at best, 12 tortellini , the chicken sandwich was dry, the sauce for the gnocchi was saturated in sugar ….. the only item we all agreed was great was the octopus! The service was mediocre and the noise levels were atrocious. My this needs to make some changes to create an enticing ambience and food selection.

We went to Mythos in early 2019. We had people with a mixture of dietary needs in our group (vegetarian, dairy and corn allergy, peanut allergy, and a person who would eat anything). We went for lunch, didn’t have the best service, and they were not very accommodating for those dietary needs. Maybe their menu has changed and maybe they would be more accommodating now, but definitely not the best theme park restaurant. Not even the best food we had on Universal property.

The "award" was given YEARS ago. I've been twice and both times were mediocre at best, overblown at worst, and more about presentation than flavor or cooking skill. Truly over-rated and over-priced and NO WAY the best theme park restaurant anywhere. Ugh. CRAZY noisy too--like eating in a Greek airport concourse (smile.) And to say it even competes slightly with the best EPCOT has to offer is nonsense. Sorry.

Paul at France, on a GOOD day Le Cellier (call that the "Gourmet Corner" of World Showcase, and though not "in" a park since that's a short walk via Int'l Gateway to Flying Fish at the Board Walk and Il Molino and Shula's at Swan/Dolphin, that's the foodie festival of themepark regions)
