After all, the automotive industry does seem like a far cry from what Apple usually makes. However, the gap does not seem to be that big once we look at what kind of automobiles Apple plans to make. Project Titan is not about the traditional vehicles that run on fuel. Apple’s not here to disrupt the Toyota or Ford market; what they are aiming to develop are completely electric vehicles. Furthermore, their primary competitor, according to leaks that have come from the company itself, is Tesla, the current leader, and innovator in the electric car market.

You are wrong in your statement that Titan's will compete with Tesla. There are 1 billion ICE cars in the world. EV's will replace almost all of them by 2040. Apple's Titan will be competing with legacy automakers. Just like every EV company. With 1 billion cars to replace there is enough room for several EV manufactures.

Building FSD software and hardware is a strong possibility. However, all FSDs require billion of real time driving date. No one except Tesla has that. How do you explain that obstacle for Apple to launch it FSD anytime soon.?

I'm way over thinking about Imaginary Cars of the Future. The subject has been beat to death pointlessly. The developing EV aftermarket is more interesting. Having Apple car arrive in 2025 to compete with Tesla in 2025 is a big ask, and unlikely. Tesla may be bigger than Apple in 2025 as well.
