Austen, great episode BUT was it necessary for you to keep your shades on when you were speaking to the owner of Smith's Workshop...especially when you were indoors?

Great story and important to preserve the history of the Daniels method. It’s in safe hands with Roger who is a #legend

It's criminal these videos don't have more views. This is gold for watch enthusiasts, really quality content. Keep it up!

It's so cool to see a young team of watch makers working on these unique watches. George would probably have approved.

I love the fact that he's proud that manufacturers are copying him, mimicry truly is the best form of flattery

Thanks for the video Austen. Cool shades man! BTW, we need an updated video of your collection. Last time I saw it, was in the talking watches episode.

I agree. Sunglasses indoors, especially in a classic watchmaker's studio seems to be in really poor taste.

Great video and I'm glad Britain revives a watchmaking industry but did Rw Smith not have legal issues with Breguet regarding the design of the dials??

Coolest horological workshop and seeing the equipment of bygone era which has been restored is so great.George Daniels and Roger Smith have once again put the British Horology on the world map once more in the realms of George Harrison Thomas Mudge just to name a few.Like also Thomas Mudge invented the lever movement and the Swiss take it over and call it Swiss lever escapement not the Thomas Mudge Escapement.Think all British Horological inventions should be highlighted to show the world how the British horological industry was and what it gave to the world.Wake up British Horologists 💪👍👌🙏
