Reese, the ONLY one that I've seen, mention not being able to shuffle your feet on Defense as fast as the Offense is moving. I think this is one of the biggest takeaways when it comes to having an extra mechanic on defense in combination to your lateral quickness.

“Reese ain’t productive to the community” …Nawl,Reese ain’t no damn fool.I watched the 2k24 community day rec play and saw some of the same bad defensive situations from 2k23.The guy playing even highlighted it.Defense is the exact reason I’m waiting before I buy this game.They expect us to guard some shit that the game itself is not designed for you to be able to keep up with.Remember it’s not their dribbling that gets you,it’s the speed boost they get that makes them faster than your player is capable of moving no matter what your defensive rating is.Then add on the fact they got badges helping them,then add on the fact you’re fighting “sliding”,and you’ll realize it’s way too much stacked against defense.💯
