I’m really not liking the badge regression, mainly when it comes to certain badges you won’t be using all the time in the park. You can grind out your Deadeye, blinders, guard up, etc, but if you don’t shot contested shots most of the time, it will just regress all that progression. Why should players be penalized for playing smart? All things that 2k really needs to think about as the game life cycle goes on..

They only want these stipulations to stop badges progression. Youd have to play everyday to not regress so much. Which is why they made the game this way. What they didnt considee is the other games dropping. Mortal kombat 1, modern warfare 3 and possibly gta will teach them a lesson. Because once people stop playing and get back to see their badges have gone down theyll stop playing 2k. Who wants to lose everything they work for. Thats a monetary trap for addicted gamers.

All this shit stems from defense.If they completely overhaul the defense to be viable against the offense,they wouldn't need to adjust the shooting percentages because the defense will correctly counter your shot.Theyre too greedy to take the time off to revamp defense and instead are trying to boost and tune faders to make up for it...Delete the whole defensive system and make it from scratch to go with the offense.💯

I mean if it came down to timing and timing alone then the skill gap would be there but the servers and internet play a role in that so it should just come down to percentages of shots taken on the floor makes your spots matter u can’t just shoot from anywhere all shooters have there favorite spots mine is the right corner wing so I would have a hot zone from there in which even contested threes go in but I may miss the left corner 3 open cause I don’t shoot much from here

Very easy to understand what Mike was saying. The counter being moved up to 5 means you will have to miss 5 shots instead of 3 shots to get the slump notification. The slump notification doesn’t effect your shooting, but missing X amount of shots in a row will make you cold and being cold will effect your shooting. The game is working great. It’s a good game.

i’d say both is true because i’ve been in a shooting slump but like he said i started contributing in other areas (defense, mid range, lays/dunks) and i managed to end with a B+ teammate grade and over 10 points. I never went cold 🤷🏾‍♂️

It’s because of cross play! When I play mlb the show on cross play I get the same lag spikes and it sometimes makes the game unplayable but in my experience it’s a bit easier on 2k

I feel like the game forces you too play a certain way. Even in regular mycareer it's getting harder to play hero ball even on lower difficulties. I get playing team ball online with OTHER ACTUAL PLAYERS.....but when I'm playing against the cpu grinding my myplayer.......I wish they'd give players a little more control over setting like in myleague.

It’s not just 3s, I run a post scorer (Hakeem Olajuwon build) every year, every year, my mid range has been high enough to hit open mid range jumpers and post fades, I literally have post fade phenom on HOF and be missing 3 and 4 wide open post fades straight in the rec, it’s frustrating

Save the green only shots for the sweats at Pro-Am, increase the shot make percentage for slightly early/late for the casual player at the rec/park. Everyone’s happy. The only way to grind blinders and deadeye is by taking bad shots with a bronze level badge. And if I take good shots all game the badge regresses????? Make it make sense.

Shooting slump should only affect teammate grades. As you continue to miss consecutive shots, your teammate grade should rapidly decrease for consistently mistiming of your jumper. You should seek to attempt shots closer to the rim to revert the slump. This should help out individuals in the rec or theater no squads to grade out teammates that are liabilities on offense. There should also be a mechanic like this for defense to target people for consistently allowing consecutive uncontested shots attempts from their matchup.

2k making everything rating based instead of basing it on what is happening in real time is my concern. Idc if somebody has a 90 perimeter defense, if I’m open and they close out after the high point of my release it shouldn’t go against me or slow my shot timing down.
