Why This Couple With 38 Kids Won't Stop Adopting Children

Күн бұрын

The Briggs family never thought when they adopted their first child in 1985, they'd end up with 38 kids. Paul and Jeane Briggs are currently raising 25 kids who still live in the home, and each day is quite the ride in the bustling West Virginia household. Not only does Jeane homeschool her children, but she also takes care of many of their various medical needs. Things can get chaotic at times, but these parents wouldn't have it any other way. #InsideEdition

Many of this children would have died or had an awful life. Now with the love and support from these two amazing human beings they will be better off as independent adults than the majority of kids across America or even most of the world. It's crazy how 2 people can positively impact the lives of 38 people. The world could really be a wonderful place if we just showed some compassion for each other.

Not just 38 either! I can assure you at least one of those kids will have a child and with how many people watched this video, I bet it's inspired someone to also do something good for someone around them. :) And I absolutely agree, it's not hard to love one another, it takes more energy to despise someone and treat them poorly than it does to just let those feelings go and treat them with respect.

It sounds like the mom does physical therapy and the dad can work from home on the computer during the pandemic (there's another newer insider video) and the state gives you money until the kid is 18 after they're adopted and some of the kids have disabilities so they get more money for that. I’ve done the family tree of the Bible. It’s super difficult and confusing.

This is outstanding, they have family dogs to teach them to respect animals, kids from different race to teach them about respect, kids with disabilities to teach them about kindness towards others, it's just absolutely amazing.

I would love to someday see a follow up story with some of the younger kids after they grow up so we can see if this lifestyle taught them more compassion/communication/etc and if that can be observed in a significant number of them. It would be an incredible case study from a psychology viewpoint
