These houses have a dark history. They were the sites of gruesome killings, or where a killer lived. The current occupants of a Sacramento, California house have embraced their home’s past. It’s where serial killer Dorothea Puente killed many of the guests in her boarding house so she could steal their money. While the new owners of the home where JonBenet Ramsey was killed say they’re trying to give the house a happier future. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more. #InsideEdition

In Japan, there's an agency who actually rents/sells houses to interested customers where suicide and murder occured. Why? Because it's in a cheap price. We all know how expensive renting houses in Japan can be, especially around Tokyo.

We moved into a 200 year old Victorian style farm house 4 years ago. The first year living here we would hear a small child crying in the middle of the night. We thought it was our 1 year old. So several times we would go running to his room only to find him fast asleep. Sometimes my son wasn’t even home and we would hear the crying. I did some research on the home and turns out a young girl died in the house 50+ years before. It broke my heart to think she’s alone and crying with no comfort. I saged the home and helped her pass over. Since then we’ve never heard the crying again. Sometimes finding homes like this is meant to be, you were called or drawn to the home for a purpose. Not everything has to be scary maybe you were sent there to bring some peace

My home was in a documentary about a serial killer. The man killed 7 people that they know of. 4 were killed on my property including 1 in the bedroom that I sleep in. He had evidence hidden in the crawl space that is a small attic. I had already lived here when he confessed & they came to my house & took the evidence. I was quite shocked. It was a high profile case. I signed a contract that I wouldn’t talk about it, the case or my house which includes collecting money for tours or investigations until 2023. I never planned on doing any of it. I received a call last October from a huge paranormal group offering me $11,000 for 6 hours in my house. I’ve had many emails as well.

My house has a history of murder as well , didnt know till after i bought it 7yrs ago an was talking to my neighbor. After i talked to them i did research an found out in 1981 the family that lived here went through hell everyday from their father being abusive he would hit his kids an wife with chains or anything he could get his hands on finally the mother had enough of it, so she hired a hit man to kill her husband , one day she waited till her husband laid down to take a nap an her an the kids left an the hit man came in an shot her husband while he was sleeping ... it even made national news back in the early 80s ... i didnt know about it because i wasnt born yet, but when i bought the house i was wondering why so many people bought the house but never lived in it for a long time an now i know why... some freaky stuff has happened to one point i stayed at my parents house with my son for 2weeks to scared to go bk home. . Had to have a ghost hunter come out an everything.. so far so good nothing else has happened, fingers crossed

How many couples lived there in between? What kind of freaky stuff happened? How did they it was a hitman? Did he get caught and confess that the wife hired him to kill her husband? Her husband took an unexpected nap, and it just so happened that the hitman wasn't busy at that time. That's some good luck. I really wish I knew the names so I could read articles.

I live in San Bernardino and actually my grandma was a Home Depot like 5 mins away from the shooting as it was happening they left the store as soon as they heard that there was a active shooter and they apparently had a Christmas tree and it was a good deal and they were so sad to leave it but they wanted to leave as soon as possible and they left it

I've lived in homes where a person has died in them. But not by violent deaths. I know people that say that they were attacked/afflicted by demons for many years. But I was never affected when I was around them. So I don't know what to say about it all. I always figured that praying in Jesus Name and Blood protected me. I do recall moments in life where I felt creeped out unexplainably. And I felt heavy darkness around me. Greater is "He" that is in you than he that is in the world. I would pray desperately in Jesus Name and Blood years ago because I just couldn't go to sleep sometimes. I felt so much heavy darkness around me. In the end even the demons know that their time is coming to an end. The demons tremble at the Name of Jesus. I always knew that. This life is temporary.

Little storytime: when I was about 4-5, me, my mom, and my sister moved in with grandparents. Pretty much immediately, we started hearing gunshots from the neighbors in the middle of the night. It wasn’t anything unordinary since we lived in the woods, the only thing was was weird was that it was only at night, never in the daytime. We didn’t mind it until it just kept happening, and instead of a few shots a night, it was dozens. We talked to my grandparents about it since they were acquaintances and they said they would drive down to their house and ask if they could stop shooting in the middle of the night and try hunting in the evening. The guy’s wife answered the door and informed them that his mental health had severely deteriorated and he started having hallucinations of ‘creatures in the woods’ and that he was trying to shoot them. So yeah, that was just lovely. We moved out a few months after once we got back on our feet but I do wonder if he got help sometimes.
