@@optistudent1 Greenland has trillions in natural resources that will be critical to the future of the United States, Also it’s strategic location in relation to Russia and China would be an advantage to whoever controls it. Of course I’m not for taking it forcible but we should at least sign a 100 year lease or something and place assets there. Keep in mind china is expanding its power and influence at a frightening pace and they’re starting to encroach on the western hemisphere. This is why trump is also talking about the Panama Canal.

My understanding is that the U.S. has enough oil to meet it's needs we just don't drill all of it because it is not profitable enough to do so (i.e. shale oil), it is more profitable for oil companies to keep prices artificially inflated and that when oil is produced (including American oil) it is sold on the global market to the highest bidder regardless of Domestic demand or prices.😢
