My ex used to keep me chained up like that on his bed. I had to use the restroom on myself while he was out doing drugs for days sometimes. When met when I ran away from home at 14 and he was 24 promising me the world. He was wonderful at first but I soon understood that I wasn’t free to leave. I eventually fled the state to get away from him for good at 19 and to this day (20 years later) he makes fake FB accounts just to tell me how much he “still loves me” and that I was “the best thing that ever happened to him.” I didn’t realize I was still so messed up from my experience until I saw that news clip and started bursting into tears seeing how she was apologizing to the cops. I’m still an overly apologetic female and I hate it. I started writing a book about my experiences but realized it’s just not something I want scrutinized by other people since I went back to him several times when he would find me. People don’t realize the chain isn’t the only thing that’s keeping you there. Just the threat of the burns, the beatings, the cage, etc. is enough to make you comply. But once you’re chained up, you’re helpless to escape even when you know you’re alone. The mental turmoil is unbearable.

I appreciate the replies, but many parents demand the visitor kids family must pay. Its not bad to ask the invites to pay, its just that a lot of people can't afford the cost of paying plus present plus getting their kid ready in nice clothes etc. I don't know if the issue was money only related, but this is a common reason why kids don't turn up to modern day parties.

Loved the freeway dog rescue, I had a somewhat similar incident a few yrs back, saw 2 large dogs running through traffic at an intersection, came back around and got out, opened up the back door and they both jumped in. One was a very muscular, sweet, Pit bull, and his buddy was a beautiful German Shepherd. Found the owner next morning at Animal Control, we were both waiting in line, when he heard me say I needed to get 2 big dogs out of my car before it gets too hot, and I didn't want to roll the windows down where they might try to jump or break out, he asked me what kind of dogs and they were his! Saved him having to bail them out, too! The guy asked if there was another dog with them, there were 3 missing. I hope he ended up finding the 3rd dog, there was no 3rd dog in sight when I found the two. :(

Never leave your car if a tornado hits. It's safer inside it, even if it gets taken. Outside, you can get hit by debris and even lifted up by it.

The first kid broke my heart. He sounded so desperate but I have to hand it to his courage to seek out new friends. Dillon the kid that stopped the bus is amazing. So mature for his age, he stayed calm and acted heroically without a second thought. Children like him will go far in life. All of these videos in the first set really show the goodness and bravery of others. So refreshing.

so sad, i wonder if he had a scent on him
@danielleschiazza61729 ай бұрын
@@nylabanana1945that was my first thought. I remember my mom and grandmother always telling us ad kids not to wear any scented lotions or perfumes in the summer because of this very thing. It's weird how they attacked anything moving though. The beekeeper said they swarmed his windshield the moment he pulled up and he couldn't understand their behavior. Fir him not to know why they were behaving that way is pretty scary. This one was almost some apocalyptic type stuff 😂😂 seriously! It's terrifying to think that animals or insects could easily attack and do some real damage like that. Especially little bumble bees! So tiny yet so lethal!

Okay but the video of the kid asking for friends got me cause when I moved to a new neighborhood when I was about his age I went around my neighborhood asking if anyone had kids that I could be friends with cause I didn’t have many. Thankfully my next door neighbors told me about this couple who’s granddaughter comes over and stays with them on weekends so I went over and asked if I could be friends with their granddaughter and they said yes and invited me inside and I met her and we had become pretty good friends. Sadly I haven’t seen or talked to her really since we all grew up but I think about her sometimes and hope she’s doing okay. I hope that young man can find himself some good friends 🥲

Please ALWAYS keep animals SECURE in your car. The dog is mostly okay but I know from my previous business that pelvic bones that do not heal with 100% PERFECT alignment will almost always be a source of chronic pain FOR LIFE.🥺
