Gods bless these children. When I was newly diagnosed with diabetes. I was given a bunch of new medications. I had a bad reaction. (blood sugar way too low) I was at the point of being nonverbal, shaking, pouring sweat from every pore. My husband jumped in to yell at me for "doing this to him." My six year old daughter ran past him, and climbed the counter to get the honey bear from the cabinet. She pushed him away to put the honey in my mouth. She needs sugar! She insisted. He told her no mommy is diabetic so she cannot have sugar. Their first battle. She won, I was okay in about 15-20 minutes. She has never forgotten. and she will still not back down if she knows she's right. ❤ I know I am alive because of her.

Me too. I have marfan syndrome, mutant gene that effects the FBN1 on chromosome 15. It sucks but Victor is for sure doing it tougher.

Nobody talking about the fact that the adult was the one supervising the pool- fair enough we miss things sometimes but he was so casual about it and sloooowly walked out of the water Like, hello!! The kid is lifeless!

I was thinking the same! And what the hell was the mother sitting there doing?! I have a 3 year old and when we go to the pool she doesn't get 12 inches from me EVER!

@@rachellynn1255 i'm the oldest of six, and i learned cpr and how to swim in bad weather for my siblings (with my dad's supervision lol). even when i was eight i made sure to watch over my siblings. that man and that mother should be ashamed. just another reason to make sure people know how to swim...

I am crying my eyes out and I'm not even sure why bcuz this story has a happy ending! I have a young daughter. I think I'm just so touched by this child saving her family. My daughter would be so scared to leave me and go out by herself that I don't know if she could be this brave in the face of such fear and trauma . She's a blessing
@valkyrie10662 ай бұрын
THIS is the right direction. I remember a student who had the amputation of an arm (trauma) He was very, very upset about it. His classmates went home and began discussing how a prosthesis, or accessibility aids could be made, and came up with ideas. We weren't at ALL mocking him but rallied with ideas. He left school shortly after as he feared being mocked so badly. If only he could have had some therapy for his FEAR. (which we DID understand) The nerds were ON it! Now, 50+ years later, I particularly delight in seeing some of the new decorative/functional limbs that have been invented! Support your children; siblings, classmates, neighbors...and by extension..be more kindhearted to strangers.

i remember in highschool my junior year there was a girl who lost her right ring and pinky finger in a nasty car accident (i don't know the full details of how she only lost those two) and bad scarring all along that side of her forearm. she was unable to afford a prosthetic. our school was blessed with amazing workshop and robotics classes. there were 7 or 8 students that were able to create a working "glove" prosthetic for her. i was in the middle of figuring out which screw to use when they came and gave it to her in choir (our music and workshops were right next to each other, probably not the best for our ears lol) but we could hear her crying. one of the better times in that school for certain. she's in college now, and i'm pretty sure she still has that prosthetic.

A huge thank you to Francesca. Her words resonated with me in my current situation giving me hope with her positivity. I honestly needed that. I never comment on stuff but wanted to thank her, if she ever watches this, and affirm that sharing Victors life and story is helping others, at least myself, someone new to the world of sibling caregiving. All the best ❤

I was calling my nanna a hero for about a whole year because I went to Bulgaria and I fell into a massive slide for adults, and I couldn’t swim so when I dropped into the adults pool I started drowning due to it being too deep for me, my nanna realised and pulled me out by the hair.

I don't know what exactly happens in the future but when I died in the ambulance my little girl came into the ambulance told me to wake up and tell the paramedics why I was in the ambulance why I it was in there was they thought an allergic reaction and right as they were getting ready to give me the medicine for an allergic reaction that I didn't have I would have it would have ended my life completely at that moment and right at that moment she appeared that's what she looked like about 7 years later after I had died I see a picture of her when she's about 19 and that was exactly what she looks like when she came into the ambulance 3 days they didn't know if I was going to wake up at all and then I spent the next 2 months in the hospital but if she didn't come into the ambulance with me however she did it I don't know how but she came in the ambulance told me to wake up at 12:00 what medication that I accidentally took to put me there in the ambulance otherwise I would have died a month before she turned 15. I love her so much if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have had any reason to live and then if it wasn't for her I would have died wake me up in the ambulance that day I still never got to thank the paramedics I don't even know how to go about finding them❤❤❤
