I work with after school students, in a restaurant working their first job, they get so upset when treated poorly by customers. There's really nothing new here. I hate to use the term "When I was their age" but I worked three years as a teen working for a small grocery chain. I was constantly verbally abused by the manager, threatened to fire me multiple times, verbally abused by the checkers (Hated their jobs) job shamed by customers, robbed three times, injured several times (Back and hand injuries), put up with customer complaints, alienated by co-workers my age because I didn't defy authority there and didn't do drugs, was called a whimp and a kiss ass. You did what you had to because jobs were very limited back then, If we had recording devices and social media back then, we'd have our own stories.

I can not get over how horrific this is . One thing that keeps going threw my mind is even with everything that poor baby went threw she was still hanging on for them to love an take care of her.
