A flight attendant has had it with unruly passengers and he’s making it known. “Shame on the passengers who have made this flight a living hell for the flight attendants,” he told the plane. The trouble started when the American Airlines flight to Charlotte was diverted to Raleigh, where it sat on the tarmac for three hours. One passenger became difficult after being told he needed to keep his mask on. Musician Brent Underwood recorded the incident on his phone, and spoke to Inside Edition. #InsideEdition

i can chip in. i was barely 17 and working retail, it was a busy hour and my responsibility was to help customers at the changing room. also, people often used the changing room to steal clothes so if anything was stolen, it was on my paycheck. this middle aged lady kept pestering me about a reservation, and i directed her to the counter because that's not my department. i guess she didn't like waiting in a queue so she asked me to personally escort her to the front of the line. i politely told her that i cannot leave my post because nobody is available to replace me and there were 10 - 15 people at the changing room who needed my help. she didn't like that and tried to get me fired, thankfully my manager understood my situation and called her a crazy hag.

Years ago, while working at a Papa John's, one of our managers finally had enough and snapped on an extremely rich customer who was going to keep lying until she got free food. Now, for context, this manager had fought in Iraq and had serious ptsd and anger issues. I'm not scared of anyone, and he concerned me at times. He's easily the kind of person I could see coming in and shooting all of us one day. So, when I saw what the woman was doing, I could see on his face that he was about to snap. To be honest, when he finally went off on her, part of me was like, "Yes, thank God someone FINALLY did what we all want to do." But another part of me was sad, knowing about his background and that he was choosing to lose his job. But, it was very satisfying watching her get what she deserved. Also, I've found that those who treat service folks so poorly, most times have never worked in that industry, and therein lies the issue.

I was on Amtrak scheduled for 12 hour trip it took us 19 hours. No one told us anything for 5 hours then they sent us cookies but nothing to drink cafe car was closed. We all were talking and laughing with one another one lady shared her iced tea with me. By the way trip was to NY so much for rude NYers. I waited til next day called Amtrak explained story they gave me credit for 100.00 for next trip. Me yelling at conductor was not going to get train moving. Love Amtrak!!!!!!!

@mariebernier3076 3 жыл бұрын
@@thisthespies9389 No, and there is a law that you may not be held for more than 3 hours on a tarmac (yeah, I've sat for 3 1/2 hours before, grr.) BUT you have agreed to obey rules knowing that there is the possibility that delays, cancellations, re-routes, etc., have a good chance of happening. It's a part of the system. Passengers don't agree to the rules only if the flight goes perfectly! This would be a good situation for a lawsuit, since the legislation backs the passenger, tho.

We deal with a lot and if the flight was diverted and they landed somewhere safely until they can get you to your final destination ALIVE then be grateful and follow their instructions. If the flight attendant job is to make sure your mask is on or whatever then you do what they tell you! It’s not ego it’s what we’ve been told to do! What if we showed up at your job and didn’t follow the instructions that your job tells the customer to follow? They wouldn’t like it so treat us with the same respect that you want at your job

I don't think he handle it well, he's last words was not needed, its sounds that he cannot handle the pressure and released his frustration on the speaker. He should better apology in behalf of the airline for the bad experience and reserve any comments about the problematic passenger.
