My parents were married for 62 1/2 years before my father passed away. They stayed married without having to have a covenant marriage. It was til death do them part. All they did was sign the marriage license, stay married, and not cheat. My father was faithful and did not hit each other or swear at each other. Sure they had arguments but that happens to a lot of people. And my parents were NOT religious at all.

So if they both fall out of love and hate each other they still "have to" be together? Yeahhhh, doesnt make sense to continue something if you're unhappy with it. But whatever, if you think that "means" something about your conviction to "love" is beyond me. Why waste time and miss your chance to be with someone you actually love than stay in a lovless marriage simply because he didn't technically hit you in the face. 🤦‍♂️ But i guess if you prefer unconditional and contractually-binding love over true love and happiness then go for it. 🤷‍♂️

how hard can it possibly be for a politician not to commit adultery?(which is one of the conditions for divorce in a covenant marriage) what if the speaker decides to do a 180 and identify as a woman instead?(either mentally or medically) can his wife get a divorce in that case?

Nope. He can be a pedophile and a mass killer, too, apparently, and she has to stay married.

@@KC-ed1dj wait... maybe I'm confused... so if he goes out and gets a girlfriend who ends up having his baby, that's not adultery? (and grounds for a divorce in a covenant marriage)

@@KC-ed1dj The contract covers extreme cases including abuse. Your strawman makes no sense at all.
