I've thought the same thing before! I saw him on the most recent G3 tour and, when speaking to the audience between songs, you would swear he was actually a little awkward, maybe even a bit uncomfortable! It was really striking I'm contrast to such a mind-blowing musical perfomance. He certainly didn't have the usual kind of attitude or whatever you expect from a guy who has spent most of his life playing bombastic music in massive venues all over the planet, which isn't a bad thing.

It is clear to me that the interview is obviously candid in questions, but the flow was clearly defined. Each member was quietly minding their own devices until their turn. Myung went up the stairs to pass the relay to Jordan. I don’t think it had much to do with getting away or the vibe of the room.

Great walkthru and questions. Love to see that the masters of Prog (RUSH) got 2 shout outs from John P and John M for Rush - Hemispheres and Geddy Lee!! RUSH was the band that started it all for me and was my fave prog rock band. I started learning guitar because of Alex Lifeson. Now DT is my fave prog band. And because of Rush and DT my music collection has just exploded over the years. I listed to metal, jazs, blues, rock, prog, etc. Hey that big clock you guys have in that kitchenette is the EXACT same one we have here in our living room! haahhhaah Keep it up. cant wait for the new CD and to see you live here in So. Cal coming up soon...... long live DT and prog!!!

I don't think the interviewer is "dead inside" or "not care about the band". I think he's just professional - he asks the questions that are on the sheet, it's his job. You can hear his laugh after some of the members' answers.
