Thank You @wood7849...I'm 64 and have shot Darton for 50 years. And Mathews has used Darton technology.

Dude! Finally..... someone is paying attention to Darton. They've been around for 70 years one of the first. Back in the day, they made the fastest bows out there. The Maverick has been a barn burner Darton for decades. So glad you reviewed this great bow from an incredible bow company with a long history of archery innovation.

Darton has been around likely 50 years,they made great recurves at least as far back as the 70s,great company

I shot every bow available at ATA and this was by far my favorite. I loved the draw cycle and grip.

Darton was a big brand in the 70’s and 80’s. They began in the 1950’s

I’ve had lots of darton bows since 1981 at 10 yes old and at 52 I’m getting this prelude 32 asap

I like the way that bow looks

I'm a lefty and couldn't draw that once much less 4-5-6 times. The bow is fantastic. Darton was my first bow some 32 years ago. Try and find a left hand bow back then. Great video, can't wait until you get your new name or whatever it is you need to do.

I hate scammers that pay attention to expiration logs and use that a way to make money off over-spammed domain owners. The web sucks sometimes.

If I did just pick up a xpedition mx16, this would be a bow I would go after. Love the look of the riser and love a speed bow for shooting a heavy arrow still fast .

Really like the look & also the tech/features the bow offers! Definitely am going to look into trying one and possibly making a switch this season!

Good stuff, thank you! Hoping to catch you at Redding this weekend, but happy to see Darton exhibiting. The grip is the thing - best grip (for me) I've held. Maybe ever. Veracity is next up, yes....?

Great seeing you again Callum. Been a while, when are you coming to Australia 🇦🇺 ??..

I only have hunted with Darton since '95. I recently bought my 2 boys and myself 2 Veracity's and my oldest boy the Prelude. The Prelude is just to fast for me, I keep my hunting and target bows below 300 fps. Darton gives no free hats anymore with the purchase of a 1200.00 bow, to many people complained abiut the hats being wrinkled.

My next hunting bow is going to be 1/4" draw length adjustment. Im dead smack in the middle of every bows adjustments.. lol So I'll be taking my time with this next purchase.

There’s only a couple brands doing it… Elite and Darton are the only well known companies I know of making hunting bows with the option

I think rotating mods need an A and B setting for the full and quarter inch increments. A is 28, 28.5, 29, etc and B is 28.25, 28.75, 29.25, etc. Draw stops would be difficult to design, but that would drastically improve end user experience.

Nice bow but the draw cycle looks rough, how the valley?
@coryedd378310 ай бұрын
Darton has been around a lot longer than the 90s.

Very true! That’s just around when they started licensing cam technology
@C.Adams8211 ай бұрын
I've read that you can't shim the cams on the prelude, that tuning is done all thru the yokes. Is that true and how exactly does that work on this design.
@InsideOutPrecision11 ай бұрын
I mean you can shim the cams but there’s it really any need to because of the tones. Just add twists to the same side that the arrow is kicking… tail right, add twists to the right yokes

What draw length with the 35 get to?
@lloydn15108 ай бұрын
You’re pulling the bow back across your chest. It is a real bad habit to get into. Also makes bow harder to pull.
@JamesBond-oc4gm Жыл бұрын
If needed, you can adjust draw length with the dloop without messing with the bow, especially if you're talking 1/4 of an inch. Just my opinion

Yeah I have a few videos on that
