I'm an Italian living in the UK, and I drool at the thought of a cornish pasty or a proper pork pie. Two of my most favorite foods ever. While the food of my country will always be my favorite, the UK is definitely one of the nations in which I've eaten the best. Both for its traditional dishes, as well as the large variety of quality world cuisine you can find even in the smallest village. I also love the cheese in this video. In my opinion way underrated (or little-known, anyway, for some reason).

@MElaughs Жыл бұрын
Anyone wanting to know what yarg is like. I'm not a cheese expert, this is written for the average cheese eater with comparisons and descriptions. The closest I can tell you the texture is like edam. Slight flex and a softness to the bite. It does not crumble at all, a slice will crack at the rind and the partitions meet cleanly toward the centre as it bends. It has a firmer brie like quality to it, so its got more bite on the outer edges and a bit of a flex to the centre but the flavour is deeper than edam and it will bite back so expect a tang but it's not offensive. Imagine a milder brie flavour with a firmer edam texture in the centre. The rind is not as soft as brie and actually is in my opinion the way you can tell how fresh the cheese is by how dry and hard the rind is. the nettles have the same crispness of dried seaweed with light lemon flower and spinach flavours.
