Yeah Hunter needs to just take over already. His head is really in the right mindsight and he truly is still in tune. I liked he said "territories" cause it seems like that concept is coming back. Hope to see more of this.

Kevin C a lot of people didn’t like triple H as a wrestler, personally I’ve always been a fan back into the blue blood days. But seeing how he runs NXT that’s what he was born to do, he was a talented in ring guy who certainly married himself up the card but his knowledge of the business will one day surpass Vince.

@MattrickBT
@MattrickBT 5 жыл бұрын
@@connerhuston2613 Really though, it depends on the markets. Most of what WWE talent makes comes from external factors like merchandising. If you sell a lot of merch, you make a lot more money. Someone who doesn't sell merch will make their money on their base contract and working and making appearances outside of the ring. And big thing when it comes to NXT is that NXT is on the Network, whereas NXT UK has a TV deal, so TV does sweeten the pot for whomever is in that brand. There are advantages to being in NXT as well since they travel a lot less and their situated in their core territory, so there is less travel expenses for them to take on. Unless you're on Raw and Smackdown and you're a top 10 performer, move lots of merch, and have some major tenure to leverage more money...I don't imagine there is such a drastic difference between the average Raw/Smackdown performer versus top level NXT talent in terms of overall money. When you think last year the bottom of the Top 10 highest earning WWE stars were the likes of Kevin Owens at 2 million and Dean Ambrose at 2.5M, I have to imagine guys like Apollo Crews are making around 500-600k. It wouldn't surprise me if there are certain guys cracking 750k in NXT right now, even if due to certain signing bonuses. They must be making something decent for WWE to have signed so many big indie stars other than the hopes of big main roster money.

It's funny how I was thinking about the state of NXT U.K. making waves in the business. Whether there be a call up from the U.K. brand to the main brand or develop a main brand there in the U.K.. I do see a couple of main star talent returning to NXT not because of the talent base but merely on t.v. time or just to polish up their craft. Triple H is doing right for these stars and I hope when he does one day take over (hopefully soon) all of the knowledge and planning does better than Vince himself.

Why can't they just create a rivalry / feuds between NXT and Main Brands (Raw/SmackdownLive/205Live) without moving them to the main roster? Like... if they want to have a special match between Undisputed Era and The Revival, or Velveteen Dream vs Seth Rollins, or Aleister Black vs AJ Styles... they can just invite them to Raw/SmackdownLive or NXT for the match. So they can still be proud carrying they brands wherever they want.

When Vince dies, this man doesn't take over, Steph does. Triple H is a genius. He married Steph, won over Vince, kept wrestling his ass off, sucked the heat from everyone's fueds and pushes, takes over NXT and convinces people he loves Indy guys. Now he pushes all the type of talent he hated his whole life (and still secretly does) but he does it because it's best for business. Man, what a stud. And that's not sarcasm nor facetious...he's a genius. That doesn't mean he doesn't hate all the Indy fucks he's now forced to sign. He likely thinks most of them are midgets or fat but he has to sign them because that's what's out there. The performance center hasn't produced talent like the McMahon family hoped. Apparently people forget how many endless promos and fueds Trips had in his heyday when everyone said he was killing wrestling. We call that time 2003-2006. This kind of thing happens because wrestling fans don't stick around long and most fans watching WWE and NXT and NJPW and, soon, AEW are young and not old farts like me. Triple H, pro-wrestling god. He convinced everyone he doesn't exist.

Some people unfortunately, won't make it big on the main roster. Adam Cole for example i think he can have some success on the main roster but the other members of the Undisputed Era, It's not sure. And we could easily blame the WWE for it but it's not entirely their fault. The crowd is a big part of why a match work or not and when you see how the crowd in NXT react to every moves whereas on the main roster with a much casual fan base, sometimes the crowd doesn't react whereas the match is good. So i think it's easy to blame the WWE for everything but sometimes the crowd's reaction is very important to make a match good or not. Just like in NXT the crowd cheer for Tyler Breeze when he makes his entrance but on the main roster, the crowd doesn't really care and he's on the main roster for some time now.

But I think that is what Triple H was referring to when he called the RAW/Smackdown crowd a more "general" audience. You just can't simply copy the NXT pattern and transfer it over to RAW/Smackdown because the mainstream audience is more interested in the entertainment value than in the actual wrestling. And unluckily it seems that a lot of the people coming from the indie crowd, while being awesome technical wrestlers lack in the charisma department which they need to succeed especially on RAW. Then you have people like Elias that struggled on NXT but are an instant success on RAW. So I think that fans have to learn that not every show is directed at them, but that they can choose which format(s) fits their tastes the best. And hopefully the wrestlers are allowed to work in that format that fits their talents best, which is also something Triple H alluded to.

Its a lifestyle thing, You could get paid 150k to be the top guy for NXT UK (Complete guess on figures) you work 3 nights a week at most, you don't have to travel outside the country, your costs are minimal and you get to stay in your home country except for a few shows here and there. Or you can get 250k to be on the main roster, move to another country, uproot your family, leave all your friends and might not even be successful. For some people they'd probably be happy with option one. Some people value life balance more than career success and money.

Here’s what WWE needs: an “extreme” brand. Take the NXT concept and have an offshoot called ‘XTREME’ or something where the wrestlers can curse, there is blood (still fake of course), more violent matches (barbed wire, thumb tacks) and more mature crowds (i.e. no little kids). Essentially, it would be a brand FOR adults ONLY who grew up with the Attitude Era and ECW insanity. MAKE IT HAPPEN TRIPS!!!

The problem with Triple H looking after these stars is that they look incredible in NXT but almost all of them get let down on the main roster and the same thing would happen if he was in charge instead of Vince

the problem is that Wrestlers don't get that global recognition and the money that comes with it until they make it to the main roster. If anything the whole NXT "territory system" will make it easier for Indy promotions to poach Talent from them.

I appreciate HHH's vision but I just don't think it's right for so many brands and wrestlers to be under WWE umbrella.

I love Triple H more than my own family. Before he took over NXT we all got the impression he was a burying selfish self absorbed dick who only liked big guys due to things some have said about him, but man he is not only one of the GOATS, he cares about the business and what the fans want. The sooner he takes over the whole company the better.

Sorry, but if you truly believe that NXT and UK isn’t different to RAW and SD! Then we need these matches and these brands on WrestleMania. Even having an NXT showcase on an hour of the pre show.

Ok so HHH is on the ball and he is the one who’s really listening to the fans Vince on the other hand oh let’s give them dancing gimmick let’s give them bunnies let’s give them midgets let’s give them big dick Johnson let’s give them cartoon catchphrases HHH needs to take over no pun intended but it’s his turn to take control he knows what he’s doing and he’s rebuilding the territory system

Triple H just needs to takeover the company off Vince. NXT is great and all. But I think WWE are just signing talent just for the sake of it. They’re just signing and signing and what ends up happening is many talent on RAW and SMACKDOWN r just sitting their on the sidelines doing nothing. It’s good to have a development system, but don’t just sign people as a way of stealing from one company. This is why I think AEW will do so good because it gives the latter opportunities and pays the same, probably even more than WWE

hold up.. I know what HHH is saying what his saying is "that he loves his NXT superstars & he has grown the brand then those NXT superstars go to the main roster they get questionable booking, horrible pushes & his father in law turns them into jobber's".
