😊 The circle of life continues. Your mother is still alive, in your heart, and you are not alone. Even this movie tells you that your aren't... It's oddly comforting, isn't it. My mother died of cancer on one of her brothers' birthdays, when I was 14. Decades later, my mother's first grandchild was born on the same day. (Except my sister, who legally had the option of picking the next day, chose the next day.)

A long time ago, I was resting, while my friend was looking after my children. After 45 min I went to the sitting room to see my two children, only to find the room empty! I checked every room downstairs, then upstairs, only to come back to the sitting room and find my two children and my friend, all in the room, children playing a board game and my friend reading a paper!. My friend said they were there the whole time and they saw me run in like crazy and run out. I saw an empty, very tidy room!!! This has happened many years ago, but I still can see what I saw on that day - an empty room! How can this happen? This film has prompted my strange memory.

You passed 'through time'. Probably. Not a mental state of forgetting or imagining or even delusion/hallucination. You were there. They were there. You were either fast-forwarded (most likely) or got caught in a rewind- 'stepped back'. It cannot be generated or caused by mental/emotional as it is physical.

@@hbena3747 thank you so much! That was totally physical, you're right! I didn't see any toys, any people at all! The room usually was full of children's belongings as my friend has three children and they had lots of all kinds of toys . On that occasion the room had looked so empty, like I had never seen it before. On the second entry, the room was full of normal belongings, games, books and most importantly - my children and my friend. That must be one of the most unusual experiences of my life. Thank you for your lovely message. 🥀

@@E-Kat You are also right, it was scary. A guy explained it to me as similar to what Physicists call a time-warp which has nothing to do with imagination as it is a purely physical occurrence, which the mind cannot create. So, unlike fiction we cannot just bop from here to there. :) But it was scary and I was out of sorts for at least a whole day. Nice to know there is nothing 'mental' triggering it. All the best.

Memory vs. Reality! True Story: one of our 8 children will not talk to me, his own father. He says that i was cruel. When he was aged 3 he had an ear operation to drain the fluid from his ear drums. The hospital demanded that at least 1 parent accompany the child after the operation to hold the each child tightly because they were not given pain killers or any ether, etc. My wife held him for a few minutes, he screamed so loudly that I heard him in a far away room! She asked me to hold him since his pain was too much for her to bear. I held him while he and other children screamed and cried from pain I never saw another human bear, even in the 2 wars I lived through. Of course in that 90 minutes of his worse ever pain he saw only: MY face...and 23 years later he still thinks I was a very cruel father. The other 7 children all adults don't understand him. I do understand him very well. Was I 'cruel" or "compassionate"?

With Dr. Scott Peck being a coproducer I imagine the point was that Caitlyn made it all up in her head because she was traumatised by her mother's death. The man they arrested looked like the description the witnesses gave of the man who actually killed Alison. So the psychiatrist was innocent of the murder. But if I hadn't known of the psychiatrist Scott Peck I would have put less importance on this dynamic and wondered who the killer really was. So it was a bit unclear, I agree.

Uneducated? Young? My young son could write computer programs at four , could read at two or even earlier, has never made a spelling mistake and he was tested on this at four and got a 100% on I can't remember how many scientific compound words, covering many disciplines of science! Can you do that now? Many people don't need to be taught things. They just know them and that's not even rare. Did you go to school to learn to speak, or walk? Children learn much better without the educational system, they learn despite of it! I gather you have an PhD and I hope your theses wasn't on history of witchcraft or golf science and you call yourself a doctor. So, where did you get your education from? You knew you get this response, so you can say you're clairvoyant. 😂 So, please, don't call anyone uneducated!! If you do, somone will prove it to you, that you're uneducated as well and in very many areas you're totally clueless. Sometimes, extremely clever people do watch silly, easy to watch films, as they use different parts of their brain during this activity and due to brain's neuroplasticity, unstimulated parts of their brain have a chance to develop better as in case of medical emergency, these parts can take over from the original, assigned to it part and without any detectable difference. Extremely clever people also enjoy and need to play silly games for the same reason, so don't brand them stupid or young. Thank you. Ps look up the list of uneducated scientists, who had made life changing discoveries! They didn't need education, they already knew what they needed to know or they thought that themselves, from books but had no silly paper to show, therefore, remaining uneducated! I hope my message is educational.😂😂

@Brembelia2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct. There is nothing about the system that hasn't been bastardized into complete corruption to the core by the military-industrial-bankster complex. They initiated their 35 year New World Order plan in Y2K. It will be fully in place with all countries losing their governments to a consolidated one world government operated by the industrialists by 2035. There will be no elected public representatives anywhere in the world, and these corporate tycoons will operate off of personal whim only; no ethics, no laws for our protection, no restraints on their narcissistic, sociopathic, blood-lust greed. Their wet dream is to turn the world into one huge gulag with themselves as self-appointed gods over all life and death. All of this will be in place by 2035. We are well on our way, now. They now own all police across the whole country (the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA); with the so-called "Patriot Act"). (The police right now are a privatized, paramilitary security force; like Blackwater, TigerSwan, or Ze. In other words, owned mercenaries by and for the Establishment elite.) They own all media outlets (propaganda), they own all of the mass manufacturing (which they are in the process of turning to fully automated thereby the "job creators" will only be creating jobs for Artificial Intelligence, robotic machines; all of us are: "You're on your own" in terms of crime.) They have bought off the medical system (Big Pharma), they have taken over the educative system (Alec Educative and Workforce Development Task Force). You may hear brainwashing to create submissive worker slaves. They have control over the monetary system (the IMF), and they control the food supply. What they are waiting for is your children. When your kids come through their system, they won't know anything different and they will buy into the BS; just like the Chinese people bought into Communism (where today, perfectly healthy Chinese people are arrested on trumped up charges, are taken to prison (out of public view) and murdered, so their healthy body parts can be harvested and sold for profit on the world market. This is not a maybe. This is where we are at already and we are almost fully there as they systematically strip the citizenry of this country of everything resembling Civil Rights. "Tyranny shall come wrapped in an American flag and carrying a Bible."

The psychiatrist was innocent, he did have an affair with Alison, and during that time he gave her a necklace, but Alison gave it back to him when she split from him. She must have started wearing her old necklace again, that being the one in the photo of her and her old boyfriend, and seen in the visions, which was the one taken by her real murderer, the man in the baseball cap being led away at the end. The police officer was putting the necklace the real murderer stole from Alison after stabbing her, into the evidence bag. She really did have a connection with Alison, but due to her already mental health problem after the death of her mother, it was confused, and she wasn't seeing the whole picture. It should be viewed as a novel is read - "between the lines"! It is a film about a world in which normal people, the kind of people we should all be - are declared and treated as insane (and condemned to leave this poor world), while those who are really insane and dumb continue to live and wonder - why nothing in the world around us does it not work successfully and well? Hopefully, the Psychiatrist didn't die but she picked up on his emotional deception and thought, he was the killer. He did cause injury and that emotion is hightened when you have PTSD.

Spoiler alert. Don't read if you haven't yet watched the movie. In the end, the murder of the stabbing victim was never actually solved (from the standpoint of the police) and our heroine is now doing serious time and her life is ruined. Not a happy movie.

I don't get it. I'm usually sharp when it comes to predicting the ending. Allison is real, right? She had an affair with the therapist -- the therapist (Dr. Graham) is a married man and it's obvious he took advantage of Allison and eventually dumped her like a used pen. That womanizer therapist, Dr. Graham, probably gave patient Allison that silver necklace, which was not actually shown in the movie. The night Allison got murdered, only the silver necklace was taken from her by an "unknown guy in a black hoodie". How come that same silver necklace was inside the therapist's house, the one nurse Caitlyn found? Also, what happened to the boyfriend, the guy with curly hair? How come instead of solving Allison's murder case, the detective diverted the case on Caitlyn and her imaginary mother? It doesn't make any sense to me. The ending was vague. I was just relieved that nurse Caitlyn shot that pervert therapist, Dr. Graham. He had to be Allison's killer or at least, he hired someone else to kill Allison... reason why he got the silver necklace back and hid it in his apartment so that his wife or the policemen would never find out about his secret affair. I also believe that the moral lesson of this movie was, therapists themselves have their own issues or fetishes. They study other people's behavior to understand their own.

You are totally confused about this movie. Way off base . In the last scene the handcuffed man with the blue baseball cap the police was bringing in was the killer. The therapist was innocent. Her mother was real but had died when the movie had started. Kaitlyn was traumatized by her mother's death. Watch it again.

Am I the only one thinking this movie was kind of pointless because we still don´t know who´s the killer? It was well acted and all, but no resolution, yes I am as simple as this. I take open endings at fantasy or supernatural stories, but not stories like this, I simply wanna know.
