An excellent documentary, sādhu sādhu sādhu! 44:10 Indeed, Lord Buddha tells us the truth, but I have come to realize that using this word may be detrimental for the cause, because all faiths and philosophies say the same, that they are telling the(ir own) truth. That is why I usually say that Lord Buddha showed us REALITY, which is independent of everything. It is there for all to see (ehipassiko), the reality of anicca/dukkha/anatta is not man-made, it is there, it has always been there, and it will always be there. So everybody can proclaim to be the bearer of "truth", which is an extremely hyperinflated word and has been used by virtually all religions, philosophies and social movements, but the issue gets a very different aspect when it comes to "reality", which is a way more legitimate and credible word when it comes to the Dhamma. Truth, being as subjective and personal as it is, can be man-made, but reality cannot. People have all their own truths, but reality is one.
