Wow. I been dealing with depression for 10 years, and it hasn’t hit me that I enjoy been sad. This change the whole thing I’ll come back to this whenever I feel like I’m crossing that line. Mind can be very powerful.

I recently in the last few weeks found Sadhguru and his knowledge is transforming my life because he speaks to the issues I have asked myself since childhood. I listen carefully with a certain degree of skepticism because I don’t seek a leader, pastor or guide. I seek knowledge and he offers that with no conditions.

He is just saying be careful with your anger and emotions that you may get stuck. also he is saying it DOES at some level come down to choice. That is the good news. He also says there are a few that this isnt the case. It is a warning of sorts and also good news that we have some control.

First realize that the solution lies within you, then look for it. Actively search for ways to improve your condition, mentally, energetically and physically. Over time things will get better for you.

Yeah, true. This is why I don’t ask help because it’s just asking for attention. I hide it and suffocate under the depths of the abyss while everyone thinks I am fine. Well said, Sadhguru. My thoughts always reminds me of that, and I completely agree that I should hide it til the day I die.

Teacher glossed over doing shadow work, he did state it needed to be done, he just breezed over it. Karma work is also important. Trauma is embedded into dna memory and it IS up to you to decide a different path. I thank Teacher for his insights. It is up to us to gather the usefulness and expound. Life is way too short to relish in unkindness. ❤

we need to be cautions on distinguishing assigning our understandig of responsability to people from describing reality. telling depressed people that it is their fault to be depressed is not objective reality but its rather trying to put preasure on them hoping that preasure would incentivise the opposit behaviour and therefore reduce depression. unfortunately people dont always respond well to just more preasure. people even get depressed from too much social pressure. if such people get told that its "just their fault" they might lose even more confidence, give up entirely or get depressed or frustrated about people not taking them seriously. this is why i think sadhguru spreading his wisdom is in this case DANGEROUS and HARMFUL.

Being a Spiritual Guru...Sadguru should be highly careful about his words & narratives. Unless you have experienced any problems or pain, one should be careful about making any comment on it. Depression & anxiety are not favourite timepass of any one. It's a pain & needs remedy. As our body gets sick our spirit can also feel uneasy in long journey of life. And these things happen because we all are humans not God. Three months of depression/anxiety or anger can make a person insane. These words can worsen anxiety of any dedicated follower of you. Kindly think 100 times before making comments on any sensitive matter. Because you are not a common man. You are guide to many's life.

Of course you can be mad "at" somebody. It just means that you are angry as far as you're concerned with or in the presence of a certain person; and otherwise you're not angry.

I like Sadhguru but I don't agree with this video. Depression seems to be a choice. It's not a choice. Maybe it's something inside your mind create by your self but there isn't a switch to turn off. It isn''t so easy.
