It had nothing to do with that. Thorin made the claim that South Korea is a conservative society and despite what it seems (to westerners) it still has a very large christian protestant population which informs public morality. Thus the LGBTQ+ community may not be as accepted when compared to something like the US. Nothing that he said here was wrong. It wasn't even a moral statement just a statement of fact. Then after the show Bwipo randomly posted a twitlonger where he apologized for agreeing and enabling Thorin's "bigotry". Thorin didn't make a moral judgement whether what he stated was good or bad, he simply stated his experience living in South Korea and used a basic historical and statistical argument to back it up. The whole situation was weirdly absurd and after Bwipo threw Thorin under the bus. Thorin stated he won't have him on the show again for obvious reasons.

58:51 I do disagree with this though, because even though Mikyx himself says he likes it when other people do the main shot calling and he can chime in when necessary, he also just on Euphoria said full stop, "yes this team is actually good, we will certainly make playoffs, and not even scraping by into 6th place, but higher." He also said he got offers from other teams earlier in the off-season but didn't take them because he thought the rosters not competitive enough. So he might be quiet ingame, he's personally showing he has got the winners mentality, he is not on excel to be average.

I really think the stage issue doesn't get brought up enough. I think there are some players who wouldn't be playing nearly as good if they were on a physical stage with the other team and fans. There are also some players who play better with that motivation and energy, Caps may very well be one of them. Sure, money is awesome, but I feel like a lot of players really enjoy the atmosphere and pressure of having a stage to play on with fans.

Caps is not a born leader and it wont suit him at all... I am a hundred percent sure if Caps takes a more "leading role" it would hurt G2 more than benefiting them. Caps is a 2 shy person for that role

48:32 This is something im missing from Wunder so far, he used to play whatever he wanted and i cant help but feel some tiny confidence issues when he just plays what the team needs instead of theory crafting/counterpicking the player. Obviously easier said than done and i dont know how they are doing behind the scenes but this is the time for limit testing, Even BB pulled out Corki top and his trademark Aatrox

Caps used to be the best by far. Then Showmaker in 2020 semis made him look like a fool in both sides of all the matchups. Like when Bubblebath hid the pickles and made Spongebob think he could no longer make a Krabby Patty; he was so confused he forgot how to do anything correctly, including riding a bike. Caps even forgot his own name and thinks it's caPs now which is just completely nonsensical. Up is down, left is right and I can't play anything except Orianna and Viktor. That's where Caps is mentally. He needs Mr. Krabbs to show up and teach him how to play mid again but I think Mr. Krabbs in this scenario is Perkz and competitively it doesn't make sense for Perkz to do that. The good news is Perkz is back in LEC and looking great. Hopefully Caps remembers pants don't go on your head at some point because watching him play now is a stab in the back to Western League of Legends.

Rogue appear to have a clear game plan with their blue side and red side drafts. Their blue side is always scaling and picking highwave clear/tempo reducing champs. Their red-side is more aggressive, higher-roaming, ganking, diving, and a lot of this I think their success can be attributed to Trymbi Oh god 53:55, I am dead 🤣

I usually agree with thorins takes, and even if I don’t I understand his point of view. The one thing I will not tolerate is the Tom Brady slander. There were debates after 2015 when Peyton retired who was better. Since then, Brady has won three Super Bowls and an mvp. He should’ve won mvp this year, he retired without ever falling off of elite qb status. There is no longer a debate, Brady is the goat.

its all about meta. now we have Corki/TF meta so even Bjergsen can be top NA player. One patch when Sylas/Akali are best and you will talk how Caps is best player in the world. This game is all about balancing team and few more champions and lol will be over. Football or Chess survived decades because no one is fucking changing rules 180degrees every 6 months when game is absolutly fine.

Be it as it may, even when we had assassin metas in the past Perkz, Jensen, Bjerg and Froggen could still pick a control mage into it and still dominate later in the game. The issue they are present is that Caps used to be able to do that like in season 10 but now he looks different on control mages. He kinda looks and feels like a way better Damonte where he’s good on assassins meta but looks diamond on control mage meta, not saying caps is the same but it’s similar but he’s still better. The caps of old used to be able to play assassins meta and own and then switch it up to control mage meta and still own. I don’t hate caps he’s super good but even as a fan I should be able to to say “hey something is wrong here” I did it with Froggen and now with Caps. It’s ok to say your favorite is struggling.

I think it's a good thing he could evolve into a good team player who doesn't int away games. There were times in 2019 - 2020 when people asked "is it Caps or Craps today". Maybe it's less entertaining but he is definitely still the best mid laner.

Caps lost his confidence even according to him in his stream. G2 doesn't view him as their best player, he even gets less resources and counterpicks than Flakked or Targamas (who gets prio in picks). G2 doesn't really play for midlane or more like Jankos never did with Caps, they have such atrocious mid/jg synergy it's unbelievable how this gone on for so long when even Perkz admitted this was a problem in S9. It's more like Mikyx roamed more (when he had Perkz) because Mikyx/Caps actually had better synergy. Mid/jg was one of their weaknesses in S9 even according to Perkz. Caps was too good in S9, he perma roamed sidelanes while winning lane. I told you Jankos and Caps just doesn't fit, never did fit. Jankos fits a botlane centric team more, just like H2k, which he did again in S10 Spring playoffs where Perkz played support Zilean/mages and let Caps carry on Kog/*Ezreal. Jankos perma ganked botlane. Even his synergy with Wunder was fking awkward, Caps was more of the one giving Wunder leads when he roamed. Just watch how many times Wunder goes in and Jankos runs away, same with Caps. In S10 Summer, Jankos was only forced to gank for Caps because Caps was the only one playing well, but actually they'd even lose 2v2 to Gilius and Abbe. Mikyx was the one roaming more for Caps in S10 Summer. Mikyx was allowed to roam more, leaving Perkz alone and he would help Caps. In S11 with Rekkles, Mikyx roamed a lot less, he often stayed botlane.

For me, FNC Vs G2 has very little weight now. It's just ORG Vs ORG now instead of the players having history on the team. I suppose that's healthier for the league, lots of decent teams with decent games.

The only interesting story between G2 and FNC is the figth between Wunder and Caps/Jankos! The orgs situation was settled for me a long time ago (When caps left FNC for G2 and bet them)

Wow the caps hate is real. He is still the best player. He is the most target player in teamfights and in the draft. He never plays for himself so his laning stats will always be bad. The 2 games g2 lost were cause the enemy team counterpicked him and he had no impact.

The meta is not the same, the other players have gotten better, Caps has kept up great and is probably still the best mid laner in the West

Will there ever be 2019 meta again? NO so there wont be 2019 G2 again, and there wont be 2019 Caps again. I dont uderstand how as smart man as IWD just dont understand that Caps is evolving and he is putting teamplay over his performance. Even at voicecomms i think Caps is more a leader than he used to be. 2022 Caps will never be the same as 2019, same as G2.

Conveniently ignoring Upset when talking about FNC. Yes razork has been shit but FNC draft and play around botlane every single game and upset ends games 0/0/1 as lucian with flash cleanse galeforce up while teammates towers dragons fall. You re happy to call Rekkles a KDA player for playing his role optimally but when Upset is literally a KDA player to the detriment of his team and has carried ZERO games so far nobody bats an eye. Btw I m not a fnatic fan so idgaf really, i hope it keeps happening cause this org has disillusioned their fanbase since they sold Caps anyway. As for the caps or even perkz argument.. its a dogshit meta with no crowd. If it ever becomes assassin v assassin meta again (it wont cause riot wants to kill league) you ll never see players like humanoid larsen etc even be in LEC. Both Caps and Perkz have talked about how much of a difference it makes to play on stage with a crowd, they thrive in that environment.

First off, they did not sell Caps, his contract expired and Caps chose not to renew it with FNC and instead go to G2 because he thought they had a better team and better chances at worlds. Secondly, you seem to have some poor understanding of how much an ADC can achieve in a game. You don't seem to be taking into account draft or anything that has happened during the game when making your remarks. FNC's bot lane is playing fine, they haven't made any game-losing mistakes yet. Razork and Humanoid have had some really poor games every now and then and Wunder has also inted a couple times. I feel like complaining about the one part that has been consistently good is extremely dumb. Not saying they never make mistakes, but they haven't lost their team a game yet. I have faith that the others will get better though. Also only people calling Rekkles a KDA player are also those hardstuck silvers who don't know how the game works and how little an ADC can do alone. This isn't soloqueue, almost nobody can 1v9 against the best teams
