Years ago I did Weight Watchers to get back in shape after pregnancy. They stressed 5 fruits and vegetables daily. I noticed a profound improvement in my health generally as well as stamina and controlling inflammation.

What she says at about 28:00 is contrary to what so many academic, wearing-a-white-coat types say in their videos. She says that the whole plant is important, and making some pharmaceutical style extract, making a pill out of it and focusing on one chemical ignores the complimentary actions of different parts of the plant. I always try to tell people to look for a big bag of the whole plant, like a pound of ashwahganda, not some extract that someone cooked up and mixed with 3 other things in a kind of money grab pill cocktail. They are usually extortive in price and lacking in potency. With the raw plant you get the fiber and all of the complimentary alkaloids.

Good talk, but she skipped the fact that nutition has a great effect on oxidative stress and inflammation. For example manganese controls manganese superoxide dismutase, selenium controls glutathione peroxidase, vitamin b2 and iron control catalase.
