MIBT, I have two videos that I can't find much on. 1) Umpire ball placement between hashes and when a ball and shouldn't be replaced. Most of the time it's easy but for new officials it would be nice to have a condensed version of this. On PAT, Field Goal, Kick-off, can you move after O/D of Timeouts, Punts, Safety Punt, Fair-Catch, incomplete passes, after each quarter (switching sides). 2) Can you talk about odd formations and how you want the crew to talk when this comes up. As a newer official in the Umpire position I find it challenging at times to quickly identify that the TE is covered up at my angle if a WR is on the line or not especially in SC headsets aren't used in most games.

I had this happen in a 10U Pop Warner game today. Punt was blocked behind the LOS and was muffed by R behind the LOS. K recovered the ball after the muff. My HL had stayed on the LOS and said the muff occurred behind the LOS. I announced that the ball had muffed by R behind the LOS and that that touching is ignored. It was recovered by K but they did not make the line to gain, it was R ball at the spot of recovery. I will just say that K coach did not react well to the ruling resulting in a UNC.

They don't know the rules anyway so his opinion didn't matter. lol

Even if you thought it was a muff beyond the LOS, wouldn’t it be first touching by K? Looks like K touches it then R touches it.

If you thought the ball was beyond LOS it sure looks like KCI on kicking team.

That's a good thought and observation. This angle is not the best and in real time on the field, the receiving team player did have an unimpeded clean attempt at the reception. Thanks!
