sir it is a humble request to please upload the videos on daily or interval basis if possible, as long intervals breaks the coherence of thought b/w the lectures. Bdw great initiative - it helps in making our concepts of ethics more clearer and to the point as of the UPSC syllabus.

Hello Sir, A small query I have: While Explaining Value that a Leader Should have 23:50 point No.2 'Commitment'- It is said that Leader should lead by an Example. Like Leader should declare his Properties and Assets in public Domain, in order to have his subordinates do the same. My Question is: "By doing such acts of 'leading by an example', What makes a subordinate or a follower to replicate his leader's or senior's actions? Is it, the feeling of fear or shame or respect for leader or compulsion of repeating what your leader does? Which Ethical Theory or Values is applicable in this situation?" Simply Put- Why should I do or what makes me do, what my senior or leader does? (From Ethical Theories' perspective I am asking)

Leaders are not to be followed by subordinates per se rather leaders mobilise people towards a common vision by generating trust in themselves through their actions and people follow them not out of compulsion or force , then it won't be called leadership rather they follow out of their own will because they too start to believe in that common vision.
