Insomniac went from Disruptor, to immediately to my first games ever, Spyro The Dragon, to Ratchet and Clank (still), Resistance series (Full circle to a FPS), Fuse, Sunset Overdrive, those VR games, and now the Spider-Man and Wolverine Gods. Just like Naughty Dog with Way of the Warrior, you all gotta start with jank game, a two mascot titles, and make several landmark Sony exclusive franchises. Weird how they both have very similar histories.

Iirc both companies would lend each other thier engines and assets while making games to help each other out. Now they are both living in Sony house haha so even funnier how things went for them.

@@MiBrCo4177 Yeah, those playstation companies are pretty friendly with each other. Add Sucker Punch and Guerilla too. They all enjoy each other's games and want to share tech tricks to help each others games show off the PlayStation consoles even more. Which makes sense cos they all can profit from more consoles sold.

Seriously. It's crazy how many of these hidden gems I have completely missed or took completely for granted back in the day because I was just a kid in middle school and took for granted how awesome the state of video games was at that point. Now I am here today and I truly believe some of the best aspects of gaming was during this Y2K era & beyond. PS2/ GameCube/Xbox/N64/Dreamcast, era. ~{Man I really LOVE this era of gaming. It was the perfect blend of including what is important, providing options, art style, games made for pure fun, some environmental effects, physics like effects, to the point gameplay. Not embarrassed to embrace Absurdity whenever needed. It unintentionally made it cool, I just love the vibes. I miss this era and I wish we could bring back the best aspects of this era and incorporate it into our modern world with our advancements that we are currently not utilizing ANYWHERE Near it's creative potential. It's funny how the more some have "focused on realism and graphics" the more we have digressed in gaming as a whole. This era UNDERSTOOD what things should focus on. It embraced the best aspects in the Game department. Not waisted tons of stuff on unnecessary things but put effort into the things that do matter because they didn't have enough tech space to waste any processing power on anything other than what was necessary.} Ya know what I mean?
