Usually I rock out hard core to death metal songs, but this one's different today. My best friend lost a friend yesterday, and she's really lost. After I talked with her and comforted her last night, this song doesn't sound the same. It sounds more beautiful, for some reason. Just the notes that are used, and the lyrics give it a deeper meaning to me as I help a friend in mourning. The lyrics about the stars are especially meaningful because my friend believes that her friend now shines with the stars. It's so beautiful.
@ToasterAssassin10 жыл бұрын
This is the beauty of music, finding a personal connection past everything and embracing it. I mean, Insomnium do such an amazing job crafting and weaving melodies in and out with the fantastic lyrics, but to grasp that and find a deeper, personal touch? There is no greater feeling in the world (to me at least), especially within the realms of music. No words can describe it, it must be experience and once it has, damn, such a realm of beauty. Sorry to hear about your friends loss, truly a tough time, but when they have friends like you, it makes the whole transition not feel like a lonesome uphill battle. Take care and farewell.

You really think cussing at someone over the Internet is going fix anything? What are you going to do; caps-lock me to death? It's rather immature, actually, and your grammar is frankly terrible. You may listen to metal, but you disrespect the lifestyle. The first comment on my thread; that man is a true metalhead, because he acts like one. You are a shame to the metalhead community. After hearing this, it has restored my love for Insomnium. I definitely hear more of their older elements coming through, which is good as it reminds me why I listened to this band in the first place.
