Always have a contact with the use of escrow that won't be released until an approved inspection

I don't trust new construction at all for HVAC systems. A static pressure test should always be done! 80% of homes have a single under sized return duct. This means your house is usually getting about half the airflow for heat and cool! I suggest having an HVAC tech do an inspection before buying any home! It's such an easy test but most home inspectors dont do it.
