Inspection of a Long Lang Hive

We are inspecting this long lang hive in anticipation of the Spring nectar flow to see if it needs more frames.
We have a hive that may have laying workers. We may steal a frame of brood from this one to see how the other hive reacts to the brood.
We have been keeping bees since 2016. We are hobbyist beekeepers who started out with 2 hives in our backyard. After about a year, we discovered how quickly a colony can become too defensive to be kept in a neighborhood. Now we've got our bees outside of town on 10 acres.
Even after 8 years, we consider ourselves as newbie beeks, and we learn new things every season. The videos are mostly for our own consumption, but if you are watching, you are welcome to watch and we hope you find them informative.
