It’s amazing to see you two together in person, and I thought this was an excellent discussion. “Why music?”-great opener, Mr. Barnes, and I liked the points on how music feels more discovered than created. I also appreciated the reflections on how “belonging” can cause oppression, and yet how also people feel like they can explore when they feel safe thanks to boundaries and fences-that frames the “tragic” problem well. I also liked everything Mr. Ebert said on the value of coming up with ideas for oneself, how that creates excitement and inspiration. I completely agree. And that’s pretty awesome regarding the ice-cream salad-well done, Cuba, well done.
