Back in the 1940s, my grandmother made a beautiful cherry basket quilt out of civil war type prints. Many years later, my sister and I would lay they quilt out in our backyard and play with our dolls. How I wish I still had that quilt. I can see it in my mind and want to duplicate it. Thank you for showing us these beautiful quilts and bringing back such a sweet memory.

Good quilty morning Edyta! I just love your 1900 patches quilt as it’s the same kind my Grandma hand quilted, which I inherited. I have also inherited her scraps basket, and if someone would show me how to, I would make one myself from these; so... PLEASE show us how on your channel so we can keep traditions going. We love and appreciate you and your Fam! Happy Quilting to you too 😉

So inspired by all of these beautiful quilts. Square and rectangle designs are my favorites. I'm going to pull your books off my shelf and mark a few more quilts to add to my bucket list of quilts to make. I have a box full of repro fabric waiting for me to cut into scraps that will be perfect for these projects. Thank you.

I never would have guessed that Country Living was made with 2 different double 9-patch blocks. The secondary patterns make it look like a lattice design with on-point square blocks and then, of course, adding the 9-patches in the outer border to complete the design is perfect and is so much easier to make than I thought and can be made with some of my fat quarters since a lot of the yardage needed is 1/4 yard. Thank you so much for the free pattern and again, Happy Birthday.
