Today's video takes us to a tranquil monastery in Gotham village, where a story about a Buddhist monk and his disciples evolves, highlighting the powerful importance of quiet and the dangers of excessive talking. It's an engaging story for anyone interested in spiritual development, self-discipline, and Buddhist teachings.
This Lesson's main emphasis is a disciple pointed out for his constant talking and self-praise, who believes his sacrifices are greater because of his privileged background. When challenged by the monk, he makes what appears to be a straightforward decision: he will keep silent for one month. This work, which the disciple initially underestimates, becomes a colossal battle as the quiet magnifies his internal noises, ultimately leading to a significant personal development.
The Lesson teaches us self-awareness and spiritual enlightenment. It demonstrates how excessive talking may muddle judgment and impede personal progress, and it shows silence not as a lack of speaking, but as a means to greater insight and tranquility.
The story unfolds with the noisy disciple facing great personal problems that lead him to solitude in a forest, symbolizing his search for inner peace. Following a period of intense solitude, he returns transformed, having understood the true essence of silence-both externally and internally.
You are advised to think about the importance of words and the power of silence. The monk's teachings emphasize that much of the world's conflict arises from superfluous talking, and that true understanding and peace come from listening and reflecting rather than speaking.
This video is a must-see for anyone seeking self-discovery or interested in Buddhist teachings. It's more than simply a story; it's a lesson in how limiting one's vocabulary may lead to great inner power and clarity. If you're seeking to begin on a similar path of solitude and self-discovery, this video will be both inspiring and transforming.

That Bible verse is misunderstood by many. The Lord in Leviticus have the law on dietary code, there are things that defle the temple of God( making you unclean) the Lord was responding the the disciples that were with him and did not wash their hands prior to eating and the pharasees condemed the act. Out Lord dismissed the accusations of them defiling thier bodies by not washing their hands dby statng your aforementioned bible verse because they were in the presence of the bridegroom therefore being in the presence of the Lord they could not defile their be bodies by what they ate with unclean hands because they were in the presence of the Lord.😊

The nagging inner-voice is what keeps a person confused and full of anxiety. These are the voices of the people in our lives who have brainwashed and pathologized us. They're the voices of a teacher, a parent, a youtuber, a professor; the voices inside of us are not our own. I practice letting the thoughts pass so that the voice of the "real me" can raise to the top, superceding the ego that has made a home in me.

But why are these voices that are not ours "on top" of ours?
@PostNostalgos
@PostNostalgos 6 ай бұрын
@@serban2139 The trauma we go through as children that's caused by the adults in our life. Mainly our parents. Especially with parents who abuse or show impatience. In order to get along, we adopt alter egos, which begin to layer on top of the "real" you. Our own voice is snuffed out and we adopt the voices of others in order to get along. Speaking for myself: when I realized all of this I went to the person in my life who traumatized me the most, my mother, and told her all that she did to me was wrong but I forgive her. The same truama I went through was done to her as well and the generational trauma gets passed down over and over. It was only through forgiveness that I could be "me" again, and the real inner voice began to overcome the fake voices. I am still in the process of shedding these alter egos that I adopted. I had to come to the realization that I hated and judged my own mother for the way she treated me, when she was treated just as bad; she was not in control of her actions. I've been free ever since.

@@serban2139read about the superego. Our mind can be divided into two parts basically, one of them is the real you, the other is the superego, which wants to protect you from harm. It acquires society's and other people's values so you're accepted by others, so you can have social attachments and live in society. That's yhe part of your mind that tells you "don't wear that, you're gonna be judged", "don't say that", "you're not good enough, try harder", etc. Even though it's purpose is to protect you it ends up doing more harm than good because you end up forgetting to be who you truly are

Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by to send some positive energy to all of you! These past years been very tough to me. Ive been challenged mentally, emotionally and certainly spiritually. I feel like i’m finally finding myself and who I was once before when I had peace. I am thankful to come across a channel like this one that shows me that we are really all one in the same. We all have these daily struggles that we deal with that can keep us up late at night but just know that you are not alone. Knowing that I can come here and openly express myself and see others doing the same gives me hope that the world will indeed be a better place but it starts with us. We have to set an example for others and I know we can do it. Peace and Love to ALL OF YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

When two people are having a conversation usually at least one of them is just waiting to speak, thinking about what they're going to say next and not listening to what's being said. There are people that can't wait for the other person to stop talking and interject which is quite rude as well as disrespectful. I don't know what has happened to me but I used to be the one that was always talking, the rude one interrupting. Something changed in me a few years ago and I can't put my finger on it. Nowadays I don't talk nearly as much but I listen and pay more attention to everything.

From today hence forth I'll start practising silence and solitude, considering giving others time to express themselves first. Thanks a lot for this inspiration documentary IspiraZen.
