Inspiring America: Reba McEntire helps breathe new life into Oklahoma hometown

After Reba McEntire’s mother passed away, she wanted to do something to honor her. With the help of a family friend and the Choctaw Nation, Reba’s goal also brought life back to her hometown of Atoka, Oklahoma.

Her real hometown is Stringtown and she and her family are not well liked! There was plenty of spots locally to really help her "hometown" community. If you want to get so, so food go ahead. The Choctaw Nation paid for this not her.
