Not here to create any controversy! :D..i have huge respect for south canara and love for everything manipal and of course the people from that part of the world. However, I went to manipal hospital, blr around 15 years back with a fever. The senior doctor asked me the company i was working for, checked with his team if i had a good medical insurance cover and straight away asked me to get admitted for a week! The doctor was very well dressed and seems he was also very close with the then CM of Karnataka. Just shared an experience. Having said that, I love Dr. Devi Shetty who is also from south canara and connected to manipal. Sorry for commenting on an unrelated topic.

Five years back, ED and Income Tax in joint operation raided one doctor couple Bangalore. Both were infertility specialists. more than 10 Kg gold + 50 Cr cash + BMW/Merc. The doctor couple reached out high corridors of power to suppress but in vain. finally they were able to manage media making sure no news comes out on TV channels/news papers.

Talking about hearts. Learning about CPR must be made mandatory for all in thier respective fields. Be it a student or a working professional. A certified CPR workshop at any nearest medical center that one needs to renew once a year. It really would save many lives in the long run.

Loved the video. In the UK, Tesla has been requested to give some noise to the engine, to aid sight restricted pedestrians. Because it is noiseless, people with sight restrictions are not able to decipher whether it is safe to cross the road or not.

I hope all of this docs immense wealth/extravaganza is not just from their salary. If it is so, then it is NOT a good thing because that ultimately adds to the sky rocketing cost of life- saving/essential medical services, already out of reach for many Indians.
