Insta 360 X3. A golf course walk with a tiny bit of magic and a Formula 1 spin ;)

My first 360-cam video and I love the X3 already! Took the shiny new cam for a Sunday walk around the park. No thinking about lighting or framing, no expectations. Just the X3 on a selfie stick, and two car mounts I wanted to test as well. Walking around with a stick was kinda weird at first, but when I got back home, checked the footage, and all the endless creative options, I was astonished. This is really something else.
Consumer 360 cams have arrived and they are remarkable. They give us absolute freedom to choose ANY frame we can think of, at any angle. Push the record button, and whatever happens around you, is recorded and available to your imagination and creativity. Immediately, but can be completely re-framed also next day, next week or next decade if so you choose. You can also pick an unlimited number of different views or perspectives from the same footage, and within a few clicks, easily create perfectly seamless transitions between them. Like from the far, far and away - small planet view, to the macro shot of the grassroots under your feet... It is hard to explain how easy and how powerful it really is. In terms of the ability to picture the world around you, and tell the stories you want to tell, you are almost like a God. Well, it's a hell of a fun at the very least ;)
Of course, not everything is perfect with the X3. The half-inch sensor and the 5.7K resolution over a full 360 sphere are NOT on par with the GoPro or even higher-end smartphone cams in terms of picture quality. The slo-mo options of X3 are MUCH inferior to the GoPro or DJI Osmo action cams. The 360 lenses are very exposed and definitely not suited for serious action shots. But... the picture quality is actually decent enough even in low light as you can see in this video (watch in 4K). And the unlimited creative options are absolutely c-r-a-z-y. The X3 is not a replacement for a proper action cam. It is another tool - and an amazing one!
I am just starting, discovering, and learning, but after one month, I can thoroughly recommend the Insta 360 X3 and the PGYTECH suction cup mount. Oh, and the 88mm magnetic mount from SteenBeek is even better! Check the links below and feel free to ask about anything in the comments.

Siema 😀 Calkiem spoko to wyglada, jakos i swietne ujescia zrobiłeś... Zastanawiam się właśnie nad insta 360 x3 ale mowia, że słaba jakość bateria się przegrzewa i wyłącza. A u Ciebie wyglada to Super... Co myślisz o niej ? I jak mozesz daj znac w czym obrabiałeś ten film ? Pozdrawiam 🖐️

Dzięki! Kamerka jest świetna. Bateria i wykonanie, software wszystko bez zarzutu. Masę zabawy z edycją filmów. Jeśli Twoim priorytetem nie jest najwyższa jakość obrazu, bierz x3. Obraz jest gorszej jakości niż GoPro czy OA3, ale to jedyna wyraźna słaba strona tej kamery. Oferuje za to bez porównania więcej możliwości. No i nie ma właśnie żadnych problemów z baterią, czy przegrzewaniem (jak w GoPro). Filmy edytuję w Davinci Resolve
