While the Insta360 GO 3 is good for action sports it’s also amazing for families. Being able to use the magnetic pendant with your kids gives you a fun oftentimes hilarious hands off point of view from your kids prospective. And the camera ease of use makes the camera easy for them to use.

Yes the Insta360 GO 3 can take pictures, Timelapse’s and then some.
How long does the insta360 go 3 last?
Detached from its action pod the Insta360 GO3 lasts for around 40 minutes. Inside the action pod the camera can be used for over three hours.
Does insta360 go 3 overheat?
Kind of, the Action Pod definitely gets warm. However, it’s never overheated when we’ve used it.

Yeah it’s shockingly fun to dig through the footage. I was laughing so much by the things the girls were saying when Trang and I weren’t right next to them. You should definitely try it out on your next family video!

This is really cool. I've relied on my gopro for the the past several years, but it's a hassle switching mounts. I've got a jerry-rigged arca-swiss setup to switching a little smoother (ie from selfie stick to backpack strap pov), but its still cumbersome and bulky. I've been looking for an easier and faster solution, cause kids don't wait for you to setup your camera. That magnetic necklace looks incredible. How secure is the magnet? Does it fall off with too much shake? And does is there also a magnetic selfie stick or tripod as well for quick switching?

It's a strong magnet, and the only time our oldest managed to pop it off was when she was doing a bunch of cartwheels(that was not good footage haha). But the selfie stick/tripod we were using in the video was designed to use that quick attach magnetic system that snaps in. To take it off you'll have to press a button to release what's clipped in.

Hey there, I have a question and I hope you answer. When the camera is on your kid while using the pendant, what mode are you using? I keep getting jittery image whilst on freeframe mode and is not stable with the picture moving with every step we take. Any suggestions? I know normal video I can max the stabilization but I really want to use the free frame for the benefits of editing later on. Help lol

Yeah we were using free frame mode and cropping into one of the tighter modes in the app. Not wide but narrow and the one directly above it. What helped us the most when filming was having the kids wear tighter fitting shirts so the pendant stays as stationary as it can. They definitely can’t run or jump much if you’re looking for long stretches of smooth footage. For that I would recommend having them wear a hat and use the hat clip accessory. But the more fitted shirts helped a lot for when we were out exploring and we were just strolling around.

@alphabull No problem we try to answer as quick as possible. Hopefully you don’t give up on the pendant, it’s our favorite accessory on all our adventures. While the stabilization can still go wonky the camera is crazy versatile compared to anything else on the market. For us, the candid moments of the kids the microphone picks up when they are doing their own thing ended up being our for favorite shots. Hilarious stuff :) But yeah, outside of that I hope you see an improvement in your footage with that shirt tweak
