That looks so cool but the early morning line/ticket process would keep me away for sure. We live in Orange County and can easily hit the beach, even one with an inflatable waterpark, anytime we feel like it. For people who can't make it down to the ocean, this seems nice, but man, I would have hard time enjoying myself after that hours long early morning line process. I only get up that early for Disneyland, lol.
@Califoreigners
@Califoreigners 17 күн бұрын
I hear you. The early morning ticket line scared me off as well. I was all, "Guess we'll never see inside this place." But when I looked into Trang's eyes, I could tell she wasn't gonna let the process beat her. So she left the house at 5ish the following weekend and called me to head over with the girls. She was determined! Haha.

Hey there, I have a question and I hope you answer. When the camera is on your kid while using the pendant, what mode are you using? I keep getting jittery image whilst on freeframe mode and is not stable with the picture moving with every step we take. Any suggestions? I know normal video I can max the stabilization but I really want to use the free frame for the benefits of editing later on. Help lol
@Califoreigners
@Califoreigners Ай бұрын
Yeah we were using free frame mode and cropping into one of the tighter modes in the app. Not wide but narrow and the one directly above it. What helped us the most when filming was having the kids wear tighter fitting shirts so the pendant stays as stationary as it can. They definitely can’t run or jump much if you’re looking for long stretches of smooth footage. For that I would recommend having them wear a hat and use the hat clip accessory. But the more fitted shirts helped a lot for when we were out exploring and we were just strolling around.
@alphabull
@alphabull Ай бұрын
@@Califoreigners thanks for the swift reply. Ok I thought about the fitted clothes but I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something I was missing lol. That’s unfortunate as the pendant was one of the things that sold me to buy the go3
@Califoreigners
@Califoreigners Ай бұрын
@alphabull No problem we try to answer as quick as possible. Hopefully you don’t give up on the pendant, it’s our favorite accessory on all our adventures. While the stabilization can still go wonky the camera is crazy versatile compared to anything else on the market. For us, the candid moments of the kids the microphone picks up when they are doing their own thing ended up being our for favorite shots. Hilarious stuff :) But yeah, outside of that I hope you see an improvement in your footage with that shirt tweak

I thought this had been abandoned entirely, one of the many reasons I didn't renew my family's membership here. Unfortunately, they decided to re-open it too little too late for us. Was there a toilet on the bus?
@Califoreigners
@Califoreigners Ай бұрын
Unfortunately we forgot to check for a toilet when we rode it. We’ve heard that they don’t have one, but also that they do have one only for emergency’s so it’s a bit confusing. I “think” that one is one the bottom floor. As for toilets we know of. We used the ones located inside the Summerset House building where the buses embark from. We used those restrooms before and after the tour without issues. It’s very close and looked like an interesting museum as well.
