Wish they had the M2P or M3 mount. How's the balance it looks a little bouncy?

Hey Mark - its a bit gusty in LA this afternoon, Probably more my handling of the iPhone thats a bit rough, that said - its 190grams, which is not insignificant for the AIr2, definitely watch the battery. the frame is cast aluminium it seems, wish they had used a fiber-infused-resin type material to save weight. they would be smart to change the design to be a stock camera side, that could be fitted to a bunch of drones with a cut out foam shaper to snap it in place and then a 1inch velcro strap to lock in place. the battery goes on the other side which helps balance and the COG is only about 1 inch off the Air2 center. But as you say, ability to put on the M2 and M3 would be brilliant, the M3 would be FAR more competent with this rig and would not notice the weight the way the Air2 do.

@@bophoto I'm sure the stabilization will smooth everything out. Looking forward to seeing some footage.

unfortunate not - its basiclly a insta360 on its side. with more space in-between, recording 360mono *the stitch is not remotely as good as I had hoped.unfortunately

@@Sailing360 i mean the caneras i saw on drone or this is not side by side cameras?

@@AntonBarcelona correct - these are a strap-on kit for the Air2, with up-down camera for spherical - that said - the birds own camera is still onboard, but not part of the 360 mono kit.

I really want to love the concept - but the stitch is still pretty bad - even with a handful of minor firmware updates. but the idea is great. camera separated on top and bottom of the bird.. just get used to hand-catching and cleaning the lens after each catch LOL
