A dedicated camera for a job is always gonna be better, the GoPro is clearly much better than the X3 in single lens mode. But the usable video quality in this mode of the X3 shows how versatile it is.

Yes , its really cool that u can have usable.camera for normal video at any time and just shoot 360 in all other cases

No you cant , it is just like with any ither camera in this mode

The GoPro video has less distortion and noise , natural color and performs better in dark. While the X3 looks oversaturated and a bit darker. On the other hand the X3 is still the better camera for both action and 360 . Much fun and versatile.

I like this natural sharpness of insta360, when gopro always has problem with sharpness, which looks like has too much "clarity", because of it skin looks so gainy and so not natural.

I used medium sharpness in both cameras as far as i remember :)

Is there a setting in single lens mode in X3 for portrait or vertical mode? ...because its always landscape on this mode i notice I need only portrait to use for tiktok or any mobile plaform ? Or do i have to crop from landscape mode?
