Well, as a VR developer, you know that this is not a VR camera. This is a three sixty camera three sixty, is not vr. You need high resolution for vr, not three sixty.

i used stereo mode with the mic wind muff. it has all those modes and a new auto wind noise reduction mode.

As always great video, thank you. I am making virtual tours and updated from the X2 to the X4 today. I used HDR Photo mode with RAW on the X2 before, but on the new X4 I can't switch to RAW in the HDR mode and I have not any manual settings for ABE in the HDR mode. Do you know why? Do I have to choose between HDR or RAW photo on X4? That would be a big downgrade for me. Would be great if you could help me on that... I have a client this Saturday and planned to use the X4 for the first time

But I can say that the X4 in HDR JPG mode without HDR bracketing is better than my X2 in HDR RAW 9 ABE. So I will use the X4 now and can’t wait until they give us custom HDR settings. Then the results will be even better. Would you also use the X4 on HDR JPG mode for getting the best possible results for virtual tours for now or do you have an other suggestion?

Great footage at the end. I'm so glad I bought this as my first 360 camera. I notice you have Image Settings -> Bitrate set to High, whereas by default it is Standard. Presumably it's worth the 50% extra file sizes?

I am looking for a compact travelling camera and this camera fit perfectly. I don't use these cameras for jumping on the airplane, riding motorbike, vlogging etc. but mostly for my personal travels and have great memories. lukewarm feelings if I should upgrade from X3 to X4. I love the 1" edition for its night shot, but I sold it, after 2 weeks usage mainly because of its overheating issues, but I struggle with X3 on its night mode. if possible, can we have a comparison video between X4 and 1" 360 edition, especially in the night performance.

From everything I’ve seen (from these paid advertisements) the X3 actually looks better in low light. Wait for the honest, unpaid reviews in a couple of weeks before buying anything. Remember the disappointment with the Ace Pro? All the paid advertisements raved about it. The honest reviews gave it a big ‘ol 💩
