Question 🙋‍♂️ I thinking of getting an action camera to put on top of my water housing to film while shooting surf (or kitesurfing). The X4 is on top of my list but do I need the water housing to protect the camera? I barely shoot underwater but when I do it is not deeper than 5m (salt water). Thanks

If you are shooting under water you will need the water housing to help with stitching unless you are just shooting in single lens mode. I recommend the Ace Pro for attaching it on top of your other camera housing. I do highly recommend getting the X4 if you are filming yourself or someone else kiteboarding though. The back mount or the rope mount will create some epic shot angles for you or the kiteboarder you are filming.

Haha not really: When i was a teenager in the early 80 ties Denmark, well it was the time of pastel colored thongs, and +95% of girls on the beach was topless back then. So not many square inches of cloth on the girls. Good times that is long gone, today you will not find many topless girls on a beach here, something went wrong in the mean time.

Speaking of slow motion. I am a bit saddened the Ace pro camera do not support a even faster FPS recordings in 1080p

@@insta360 Certainly. I was hoping for action camera to be able to give 500 FPS, maybe not sustained but then for a few seconds at least. Of course many phones can do this, and even faster FPS too, but i have a hate / hate relationship with my phone, the second i get the chance ( my old mother dying ) my phone go strait to electronics recycling.

If you are flipping with the x4 I recommend holding the selfie stick straight out to your side and use the auto track in the app to keep you in frame.

It’s strange that all insta360 x4 videos are shown in perfect quality on KZbin - but in reality the filming does not match this! The stitching limit of the cameras is visible in the video! And very much so, always. She's not in these videos. It feels like it was done by a different camera and a different program. So this is just an advertisement that does not correspond to the actual product!!!

@@insta360 I saw it all. I'm talking about the fact that on videos from the USA, you can't see the border where both cameras are stitched together. For me and some other users, this border is constantly visible! And this is on a sunny day, in different modes! The camera itself stitches, which means the chip and program in the camera itself are responsible for it. Therefore, the question arose - do you supply cameras with different chips inside to different regions? Why is everything so different? The performance here is clearly not up to par. Of course, you can ask the guys from the USA and here to disassemble the cameras and see in reality what differences there are in the microcircuits. But maybe you can tell me what the difference is?

Hey, I shot this video. I can confirm everything was shot on the X4. I edited most of it in Premiere Pro. I will be doing some more breakdowns soon on best settings to use in certain shooting conditions. Cheers🤙
