The 360 view warpage on the X4 has that fish-eye vision look, and that was a dealbreaker for me. The Ace pro is the only normal camera of the three, and I can easily see why it was your fav (sorry for the spoiler). I chose and purchased the Go 3S recently, the low profile and creative camera angle possibilities, while still leaving the 4K ability on the table as an option was what sold me. Bought a Go 3 quick reader to go with it, but the shipping (from China?) to my home in Honolulu Hawaii was near half the price of the product. This is my entry into the world of action cameras. Hoping for a good first experience.

oh hey! i had the same opinion as you until i realized... you can disable it in post! when you do your reframing and all, as you have to anyway; so do have that in mind, and search up a dude called Best360 here on youtube, he was the one who opened my eyes and gave great tips on some types of shots, including normal vlogging ones anyway, how is your experience with the 3s thus far? is the low light performance good? and how about always having to know if the angle is good when you're clipping it on or, i dont know, when you dont have a preview from the pod; or are you using it with a selfie stick attached to the pod?

@@MrAuditore96 I’m still waiting on the shipping! It’s the worst part of buying Insta360 things from Amazon to Hawaii. All of the points you hid in your questions are legitimately concerning though. I heard low light on the 3S was horrible, the auto angle change is irritating, battery sucks, etc. yes, all valid, but I think for me it should do fine with the creative shots I plan to use it for. I may consider getting the X series at some point, but obviously I’m going to need more convincing in the coming future.

You can change the FOV (bottom right of the screen, Mega vs Max vs Dewarp) and use Dewarp and then you won't have that problem.

I just finally decided and went for the Go3S, mostly to make fun and different kind of angles and POV from my chest and head while i'm filming weddings or events. (I also have the pocket 3 which is the best for vlogging and also great as a second camera for video). My Go3S will arrive next week and i'm very exited!

I just got the GO 3s I feel it’s really not that good looking image quality. I feel like I was sort of ripped off. I know I may need to change my setting more but even so it just feels disappointing.

: 1: Does Me mode of x4, loose its quality in post, if it is reframed or zoomed in...? 2 : The minimum distance between the ace pro and an object, to be in focus is to an arm length. Is that true? If yes, is there anything like a dioptre to fix the issue.? 3: what is the minimum distance between x4 and and object, to be in focus. : For pov, close up shots, I'm in between x4 and Ace pro. The ONLY issue that I've heard with x4 is loosing the image quality when reframed and with ace pro is that minimum distance.
