If I'm a videographer/photographer should I use creator or business? The one thing about creator is I'm not limited with the music for reals. I'm just a little confused which one I should use.

Does having a business account affect the algorithm, e.g I heard somewhere Instagram see's you're a business and wants you to buy ads so they don't show you in the algorithm as much unless you pay up?

Well when I researched this topic about two years ago when business accounts were first rolling out all the blogs were saying to wait because his is exactly what people were experiencing. Reduced engagement that could only be fixed by paying for ads. I can’t seem to find anything to suggest if this is still the case though. Once you go to business you can’t switch back so it’s still a risk for me

Hi There! I have a Business Account for my organisation on Instagram. Everytime I want to post a story and add music to the story (whether it's a picture of a video) the only music I can choose are 'default' / 'standard' Instagram music. I can not choose any modern, popular or trending song. The only songs I can choose are those default songs nobody ever hears. Its quite frustrating because the music you add are important. Do you have any advice? (I have a personal account too and on that account I can add any popular/trending/modern music to my stories, but still on my Business account I can't add popular/ trending music.)

I agree that the business account offer more insights and other stuff but it does limit the creative side by not allowing music for stories and reels which is a huge way to grow.

@@dafingaz Weird, reels should be auto-enabled for your account. It might be that your country/location doesn't have reels enabled. You can try to switch to a creator account and always switch back to a business to see.

Hey Max, if you have a page you can optionally choose to connect it. If not, you have the option to skip the page connection step.

You need to firstly make sure the business you are working with has their shop/catalog set up and also *important* approves your profile as someone who is allowed to tag their products. After that's done when you create a new post you have the option to tag products, just as if you were going to tag people.

Does anybody have this problem with the creator account? I have a problem with the creator account. I switched to a creator account on the same day I created the account. I made a few posts and then I got a message that says "Your account is restricted". Apparently, I broke a sort of advertisement rule but I don't understand what I did wrong. I literally did anything and the only 4 posts I made weren´t against Instagram rules. They were photos of some drawings I made and they were completely ok,. And no, I never post something offensive or "explicit sexual content"

If your account is new they have blocks in place to reduce spam. I would just slow down the frequency of posting to 1 or 2 per day.

​@@itsaaronward That's the problem. I just had like 4 or 5 posts and I post them on different days. I never made some kind of spam. It was super weird. I preferred to delete that account and create a new one. For now I will keep the "personal account" status.
