You can grow on instagram, also depending on the niche, but to grow you need to put a lot of effort in. No effort no grow! Always be up with the algorithm change , adjust and then keep moving. It’s possible but it’s definitely more difficult

Meanwhile I pull in $10k from passive income off IG. It’s never always or never. It’s the person and their ability and skill set and COMMUNITY. If you guys focused on community you wouldn’t need stupid algorithm hacks. Build a community. Be an actual expert. Provide tons of value for free. Then build in passive income streams.

@@heyDominikmy experience is the reversed actually. Pre feb 2023 my monthly reach was at a steady 1.5-2.5m…nowadays it’s more like 200k. That change was basically overnight lol. I must be missing something big!

Nice suggestion! I will try it. I also have a question: could you speak about adding a location to a post? And by location, I mean anything from your actual location (if it's seen/not in the picture) and quirky locations that would be relevant to the picture but not an actual place (like sayings), or if it's worth adding a popular place, but not your location (like Los Angeles, etc.). There's a lot of questions to uncover here.

Hi Dominik, I thank you for your research and for posting consistently useful info for us. I have a small suggestion for your future video production. In this one, the blue light that is over your right shoulder is really distracting, especially in a darker room where you film. I suggest removing that for future videos, and maybe being more aware of the light sources that are behind you. Thanks for considering this 👍

Everyone is posting multiple times a day, so your post will get buried. You have to grind like theres no tomorrow to even get slightly noticed. They focus on pushing already stablished content creators with a large following. Then theres is the problem of getting shadowbanned with no explanation or fix to this issue. Hell, they wont even warn you or tell you what youve done to sort it out. No point promotlng on insta since SEO doesnt even work in the first place. Insta isn't what it used to be and you'll be better off promoting on other platforms.

It sounds like we should be listing out keywords at the end of the text instead of hashtags since it's more about SEO and searching words and not a hash tagged phrase with no spaces between each word. Is that wrong to think about it or does making it a hashtag still help in search? I'm not interested in ranking, I'm interested in attracting people that will enjoy my content and/or hire me for work.

Nooo do not do this! You want to use keywords naturally in your text. Listing out keywords like hashtags is spammy (and also, you might as well use hashtags at that point). Hashtags aren’t dead. They’re just like tags used in KZbin and blog SEO

I have a theory that they changed and instead of telling people how to use the after the change, the advice has been to stop using them.
