How are you able to use your pad to take a picture of everything that you're doing on the table without picking your iPad up? Are you using an app or a special camera?
@Profotoecom8 жыл бұрын
Hi Ci, so this is our machine called StyleShoots Horizontal. There's a camera that's mounted on the beam above that points directly downward and the iPad controls it. The iPad gives a live view of how the shot looks and then you just tap the button to shoot. The machine automatically cuts out the background of the image too so you can just overlay them on any backdrop for a nice looking flat lay. Hope that helps to explain it!

StyleShoots Nice machine and tutorial. So once the image is cut out do you overlay them on a background in another program?

How is the camera setup? What type of lens? I see it's top down and maybe a wide Angle lens? What would this look like for someone using their mobile phone?

Hi Shalese, in the video Pernilla works with our StyleShoots Horizontal. This machine comes with an integrated Canon EOS camera with a 24-105mm lens. We integrated the Canon camera to provide maximum quality.

Hi hello. I just very liked it. But there is one question. How are you changing the green bacjground to another?
@Profotoecom7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! To give a simple explanation: we're not 'changing' the background from green. The way it works is that the machine takes multiple images with the backlight on and off (it appears slightly green when off). Our machines have special software that then scans every pixel and 'cuts out' the product within a few seconds, giving an image with the background removed. In a normal photography studio, images are usually shot on a white background and then cut out in editing software like Photoshop. Try searching for some 'clipping path tutorials' and you'll learn how to do it.

Is there a mode where the LEDs underneath the item will change in size? It is best to shoot in a 1:1 aspect ratio for Instagram, can this be easily adjusted to shoot square photos with the underlight being made into a smaller area so you can see what will be in the frame?

Hi there.well done pal.how do you change the background ( green light ).what tools do you use.thanks.
@Profotoecom7 жыл бұрын
Hi Toshiba, the image is exported as a .png with the product already cut out. This is a part of some special software we're running inside our machines. It's possible to do this manually of course. Look up clipping path tutorials and use an image editing suite of your choosing to cut the image out and overlay it on a white background.

We're using our machine called StyleShoots Horizontal which acts an 'all-in-one' product photo studio. The camera inside is a Canon EOS 5D MK III. Hope that helps!
