I found that follow and unfollow boosted my following but those people SUCK! No engagement no interaction. Hello Heather! It comes down to doing the Market Research, by finding out who are the influencers & competitors in your niche, research what contents, hashtags, bio, captions, call to action, works for them and how their audience are reacting to their stuff and model success. If it works for them it'll probably work for you too. That's what i did to have thousands of likes on my posts. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help & serve you.

One that worked for me to grow from 0 - 500 is Market Research. Find out who are the influencers & competitors in your niche, and find out what contents, hashtags, bio, captions, call to action, works for them and model success. I have a question regarding reels. Is it ok to NOT post reels to feed or will this somehow impact reach? I get the sense that you can use your stories as more behind the scenes for your current audience, and use reels to literally reel people in lol. I'd like to just hide reels from my current audience basically since I don't think they care about them lol. I'm an artist/designer so there's like no way I can churn out content 7 days a week like a machine however I've realized it doesn't have to be brand new finished masterpieces every time you post. So I'm trying to remember to film myself more (not just screen record though I wish this was enough since it's way easier) and cutting little things together has become a bit easier so it IS POSSIBLE for us artists! I'm probably never posting 7 days a week though so my growth will just have to be slower 😅. I already cut 3 days down to 2 but I think I can squeeze a couple of reels in to round this out to 3-4 times a week! Just wanted to say this in case any artsy folk are watching this and throwing their hands up in defeat.

I was going to ask about this. I’ve been testing on my page, and if I post a reel and leave it posted to my feed, I get a couple hundred views in the first 10 or 15 minutes. If I don’t post it to my feed, and just to reels, I get a couple thousand views in the first 10 to 15 minutes. This has been consistent as I’ve tested it over the last month.

@@seekhimfirstmom Thanks for this info it's really interesting. Did you use trending audio for the one on your feed? I tried posting one to both feed and reels and then removed it from my feed later. It was edited completely in premiere with my own text/effects though and then I used non-trending audio so it didn't do very well only 111 views lol. So I think for myself for now I'm going to have to stick to trending audio. It's actually not all that bad there's just a few that I hate that are more sound effects than actual music but there's plenty of nice chillhop etc that get thousands of views. Will try and take bits and pieces of this and adapt.
