Instagram Tips for compers

I finally got around to watching this and even though I thought I was pretty clued up on insta, there were a few good tips I didn't know about so thank you! Another good tip you might want to add is instead of hearting your notifications to mark when you've seen them, you can also hold them down and delete them which is what I do. Very handy when you get loads of notifications! x

Thank you Di. I do quite a lot of comping but definitely learnt a few more tips. One of them was to make my profile public so brands could see whether I align with their brand so I did that last night. Then today I got a message from a brand telling me I’d won a prize - I don’t think it’s a coincidence! So thanks for your help ❤

Another tip I've found the past few weeks. When you click search and are on the explore page, if you click on a post it brings up other posts like if you keep scrolling down. So if you click on a competition post, it will bring up more competition posts.

Never been that successful on comps, even though I enter A LOT, so going to try some of these tips. Decided to set up a second account but was restricted in following. Would love to move to this second account instead but guessing it will take a while to build up that profile.

Good luck! I've had 5 wins already on my second account in 2024 so it's definitely picking up. I'm sharing photos on it now for creative comps like FitFlop & Linwoods, which helps to make it more active!

Brilliant thank you. Just a tip for keeping on top of follows. I'll go back to my collections from a few weeks back and just unfollow any accounts I don't want to follow anymore if its clear they've announced a winner.

Well to be honest on both my Insta accounts, my feed is all giveaways so I imagine it's the same with both of hers too! Once you start interacting with the comps, Insta just keeps feeding them to you! She might also follow some of the competition hashtags, although now that the 'recent Posts' option has gone (to filter search results) it's impossible to find the low entry giveaways now...
