Install AdGuard Home to block ads and trackers for all devices network wide on Linux (for Free)

AdGuard Home is a network-wide software for blocking ads & tracking. After you set it up, it'll cover ALL your home devices, and you don't need any client-side software for that.

I tried this but dns not resolving, I can see query getting through on admin dashboard

If the query gets to the AdGuard setup, it should be working fine, unless something further up the stream is being blocked. What is your exact setup?

If you install AdGuard Home on Linux does your Linux machine still need to be running for the AdGuard to work?

Well yes, it is where the service runs, so, if the Linux Box where you have it running is down, all hosts using it for DNS wont be able to resolve.

The one you see in the video is free, AdGuard Home. There are other paid options available too from AdGuard. For this one covered in the Video there is no cost, not upfront and not monthly.
