Thanx for the vid on this new rope I will be doing this replacement too. The color looks really good also. You should look into two way radios with long distance rage, thanx again and stay safe on trails.

having a cover over the winch helps to extend the life of the rope, protects it from UV damage

Do you have to tension the rope after each use?
@SmokinMonkeyOG3 жыл бұрын
No because when it’s in use it’s at tension. The reason you tension it is to not have issues when it’s under load (tension). If it winds up on one side or is overleaping itself on the drum then I would take it off and re spool it.

Wow this guy has a 4x4 and goes out into the back country. I have one thing to say. COMMON SENSE!!! If you do not have the innate common sense to do everything this guy stated in this video you should stay at home and watch 4x4 videos on KZbin. This is not rocket science. This is simple stupid.

You would be surprised how uncommon common sense can be lol
