You forgot to mention pre-drilling a pilot hole......and then pre-installing the hook so that you can remove it and easily re-install it when the camera is turned on.

Gotta make sure it is on the curled end too,that's the end everybody loves to use to hang plants so that's the end you want to fix in the ceiling

Yeah these are predrilled mainly so they start and partly not to split anything

Better hold your wrist rock hard before that drills torque snaps your wrist….do it wrong Nd you’ll find out what I’m talking about

New drills have auto rotation protection so they shut off when they detect the kickback. If your drill is 10+ years old you are correct though.

Eye bolts work better, they don't slip off like a hook will and you have to pre drill the hole or it won't work.
