Found solution If anyone got this error do the above. select decompressed files (only) and copy into a folder that not in the system drive. ex- copy from c drive to d drive new folder then run powershell using shift+right mouse click and type wsl then type last command on the video sorry for bad english

I followed this tutorial to make a USB installer, but whenever I boot to the USB, it's a startup loop. It goes to the splash-page for a second, installs the framework & patches, goes back to the spash-page & tries to install the framework & patches again. What am I doing wrong?

Stable channel was running ChromeOS 126.... Something. Beta is running 129... Something. Googled it to find out that this model is Play store compatible but still trying to run it in vain.

@@pranilshripad6384 Actually I have. For me the solution was to switch the Mode of the Harddrive - for me it was under System Configuration -> SATA Operation. It was on RAID On, but you have to Switch it to AHCI. After that, if you have Windows installt, it will not boot anymore, you have to start windows first in secure mode. Also I can recommend to first install a normal Linux OS (I installed Linux Lite) because it will tell you, whats wrong with your configuration.

You can use Ubuntu Linux Distro in Live mode and make a bootable USB. You'll just need an extra pendrive

1month late response. The difference is chromeos normally supports only chromebooks with chromeos flex you can have chromeos but not apk download and no play store

Successfully installed on 16GB USB drive. Failed to boot while secure boot was enabled. Turned off secure boot and managed to boot successfully. Is there a way to boot from USB without turning secure boot off?
